Testimonials Conservation " Operatunity Travel has chartered the Fiordland Navigator six times with Real Journeys for two nights each time. Doubtful Sound is an incredible, spiritual place where we feel able to escape the world with musical and magical experiences. Our trips are greatly enhanced by the efficiency of Real Journeys, the information and commentary along the way. Most importantly is the warmth and generosity of our crews on each journey where absolutely everything is taken care of and nothing is too much trouble." SUSAN BOLAND Managing Director of Operatunity Travel STIRLING FALLS, MILFORD SOUND Real Journeys contributes significant funds and in-kind support towards a variety of projects that support habitats, recovering species and clean up initiatives. " The delegates were wrapped with their adventure and we got rave reviews the next day." MANDY TRAIN Conference Innovators " Walter Peak recently hosted the welcome dinner for one of our large conference groups of 350 visiting from Australia. With delegates staying in various hotels throughout Queenstown it was so easy to get them to meet at Steamer Wharf, where the Real Journeys staff looked after them from the moment they stepped on board the TSS Earnslaw Vintage Steamship. Nowhere else in the world can you find an experience like that for such a large group. The food and service provided by Real Journeys was perfect and the delegates enjoyed every minute of their time on the Earnslaw and at Walter Peak." MALCOLM BLAKEY Managing Director, QT Event Management " It was the highlight of our conference week, everyone was raving about the evening." DI BLACKWELL Managing Director, Harvey Norman Stores, NZ Real Journeys were very supportive of our event from start to finish which was only made possible by the goodwill of the company. All staff we dealt with from management to those on the ground were incredibly supportive and enthusiastic, a tribute to a large and successful company that maintains its core values derived from humble beginnings. ADAM FAIRMAID GodZone Event Organiser/ GodZone Adventure Race / Milford Sound & Queenstown transport " We recently worked with Real Journeys on a unique painters tour which incorporated the wonders of Walter Peak and Milford Sound. Real Journeys provided us with outstanding service and seamless execution for both these activities. Exclusive use of the Milford Sound tour ensured we had a smooth sailing, commentary and amazing journey which our overseas guests appreciated. Walter Peak provided a fantastic background for our painters where they could set up their easels and canvas their artistic side. The food and beverage were outstanding. We appreciate working with a provider who provides a professional and friendly service and is happy to accommodate our additional requests and requirements. We would highly recommend Real Journeys and look forward to working with them again on future events." ANGELA MORGAN Event Manager, Parnell Partners Cooper Island Restoration Project Real Journeys has adopted Cooper Island, the third largest island in Dusky Sound, and is committed to removing pests to provide new habitat for endangered native birds as part of the Department of Conservation s Dusky Sound Restoration Project. TE ANAU Glowworm Caves MULTI-DAY CRUISES A magical underground world of sculpted rock, rushing water and a glowworm grotto. QUEENSTOWN Lying beneath the mountains on Lake Te Anau s western shores, the Te Anau Glowworm Caves are a subterranean network lit by thousands of glowworms. The result is twisting limestone passages filled with sculpted rock, whirlpools and a roaring underground waterfall. Drift in silence below shimmering glowworms Deep inside the caves, beyond the noise of the water, thousands of glowworms inhabit a silent hidden grotto. They produce a glittering display that is truly extraordinary.
