According to the Township, the plan is to enhance workforce accessibility and mobility, to meet the needs of our existing employers while attracting and accommodating the expected employer and residential growth of the future, the township said.

The Park The Location The Amenities The Future In 15, the Montgomery County Planning Commission ( MCPC ) prepared a study looking at how the changing demographics and transportation in the region requires new thoughts into the PA Turnpike use in the County. Part of this plan included discussion of Fort Washington and the modifications of the Turnpike interchanges. Fort Washington will be recharged as a green, amenity-rich employment hub for northwestern suburban communities along the Route 39 corridor. In addition the report noted for the Office Park some future plans, including: The Land Use Vision includes: New mixed-use development including offices, apartments, restaurants, fitness centers, hotels, meeting space, and services; A naturalized green ribbon of open space along Pine Run; and A road diet and new green infrastructure and parks along Virginia Drive. The combination of the improved access to the Park along with the infrastructure spending by the Township, utilizing both State and Federal grants and funds, shows not only how vital the Park is to the area but also a solid commitment which will benefit all Tenants.
