INNOVATIONAL CONSULTING Innovational Consulting specialise in the development and enhancement of conference and event concepts. Working closely with clients to provide innovative and workable project management solutions that mould unique concepts into viable business and operational plans. In addition we offer cost effective operational plans to project manage any event whether it be a travel incentive, conference, spectator event or brand campaign. Innovational Consulting offer a turnkey solution for incentives, conferencing, expos and events and can assist not only in the operation of the event/conference itself but also in the strategic positioning and marketing of the event as well as in the procurement of sponsorship.

ED HILL Ed Hill was the MD of Edusport Travel for 17 years and was involved in multi-national events. The 2003 ICC Cricket World Cup (CWC) in South Africa: Ed worked closely with Dr Ali Bacher the CEO of the CWC 2003 Organizing Committee and was responsible for the operational plan, managing the travel arrangements for over 10,000 cricket supporters. Ed has also operated over 5,000 supporters to five Rugby World Cup events from 1995 to 2011. Ed also charted a 70,000 tonne cruise ship charter to the 2007 CWC hosted in the Caribbean for over 800 supporters from South Africa. In 2010 Ed worked closely with MATCH to set up logistics for transporting over 110,000 people during the FIFA World Cup 2010 by managing a fleet of over 350 luxury buses. In addition as MD he managed the ground services for over 4,000 corporate passengers who attended the FIFA World Cup. During this time Ed worked particularly closely with Jaime Byrom, the CEO of MATCH. Ed s experience in logistics is not confined to sports groups and in more recent years he has focused more on major event logistics. In this regard he provided transport ground services to delegates who attended the World Aids Conference in 2000 as well as 500 delegates to the Enviro Law Conference held in 2004.

ED HILL Since his retirement as MD, Ed has facilitated a number of large-scale events into Durban such as the Top Gear Festival. In 2015 Ed secured the Global Forum for Innovations in Agriculture conference and exhibition that took place at the end of 2015. In 2016, Innovational Consulting handled the following Tourism Indaba functions for FCB Johannesburg: Opening Cocktail Ceremony (2500 delegates), Closing Cocktail Ceremony (1500 delegates), Calabash catering facility, SMME function (300 delegates). In 2017, Innovational Consulting were responsible for the following Tourism Indaba functions for FCB Johannesburg supplier to SA Tourism: The Ministerial Function hosted by the National and South African Department of Tourism and Minister of Tourism was attended by 25 African Ministers of Tourism and other VIP delegates in Tourism and Media. (A networking area with canapes for 150 delegates, followed by a 8 panel 2-hour discussion, (with translation in French and Portuguese) and ending with a 4-course meal). Innovational Consulting were also responsible for the Media Networking Function (150 media guests) and the Calabash catering facilities throughout the Indaba event.

BRENDA KAYTON Brenda Kayton has extensive experience in organizing and operating conferences and expos. Brenda has operated over 70 conferences both locally and internationally. Brenda sources the venue and accommodation needs that meet the clients brief. She is hands on from the start to finish and has excellent relationships with all service providers. She keeps a cool head during crisis situations and has a team that supports her throughout. Brenda s history includes 17 years at Dunlop Tyres South Africa, where as the Channel Development Manager she was responsible for their national dealer distribution channel, which included marketing and upgrading their dealer stores as well as international and local travel incentives, events, conferences and road-shows. Brenda s has travelled extensively and organised travel incentive groups to various countries including all Rugby World Cup event (1995 2011). The 10 day tours ranged from 120 350 people. In July 2013, as Head Project Manager for the S.A. Schools Netball - All Ages Tournament Brenda was responsible for the logistics of the 2300 players over 4 nights. This included accommodation, catering, transfers, sporting requirements. Brenda was the Project Manager for the 23rd Airports Council International Annual Assembly Conference and Exhibition which took place in Durban in October 2013. Brenda was the Project Manager for the Grindrod Bank VIP Marquee at the Hilton Arts Festival for 2014 2015 and 2016 and has just been appointed for 2017.

BRENDA KAYTON Brenda was the Project Manger for the Global Forum for Innovations in Agriculture conference and Exhibition which included the Project Management for the Technical Centre for Agriculture (part of the European Union) conference, as well as Project Manager for the Food & Agriculture Organisations conference (part of the United Nations). Brenda was the Operations & Project Manger for the Tourism Indaba 2016 functions at the ICC which included: Opening Cocktail Ceremony (2500 delegates), Closing Cocktail Ceremony (1500 delegates), Calabash catering facility, SMME function (300 delegates). The Technical Centre for Agriculture (part of the European Union) held a study tour in October 2017 and Brenda was the Project Manager for the group of 25 who visited Durban and surrounding inland areas for 1 week. In February 2017, Brenda was appointed Project Manager for the FMI Conference a 4 day conference for 100 delegates including Cocktail evening and Gala Dinner. Brenda was also the Operations & Project Manager for the Tourism Indaba 2017 Ministerial Function hosted by the National and South African Department of Tourism and Minister of Tourism was attended by 25 African Ministers of Tourism and other VIP delegates in Tourism and Media. GLOBAL FORUM FOR INNOVATIONS IN AGRICULTURE Durban 2015 Durban Exhibition Centre. Global Forum for Innovations in Agriculture: Provided full conference and destination management services for this international conference. DMC services included: accommodation for 200 paying delegates and guest speakers at 4 star hotel, transfers, catering, Cocktail function, photographer and French translation services. The Technical Centre for Agriculture (Netherlands) Managed the 140 international sponsored delegates attending the GFIA conference. Services included visa applications, accommodation at a 4 star hotel, transfers, conference venue, logistics and French translation services. Food & Agricultural Organisation (United Nations) Management of the workshop at the GFIA conference which included worldwide video link. Destination management services for workshop group as well as audio/visual support.

AIRPORTS COUNCIL INTERNATIONAL through Airports Company South Africa (ACSA) Durban 2013. International conference attended by 450 delegates from 47 countries and attended by the Deputy Minister of Transport. DMC services including Exhibition, logistics, Cocktail function, Board Dinner, Gala Dinner attended by 500 delegates. The conference included audio visual support and French translation. The Gala Dinner included audio visual support, French translation and entertainment.

FINANCIAL ACCOUNTING & MANAGEMENT Full accounting and operational management systems are set-up for each conference or event. Budgets are finalised pre-event with an adjustment invoice mechanism for unbudgeted line items post items post event. A contingency budget is agreed prior to the conference. Budgets are updated for the client throughout the build-up to the event period and the post event close-out report. Payments are made to suppliers and proof of payment is sent to the client, within 5 working days of receipt of such payment. A post event close-out report is provided to the client providing a detail explanation for each budget line item. variance

REGISTRATION SERVICES We can provide : Electronic invitation solutions Online booking, RSVP and registration Event-specific Apps Accreditation Support staff (before and on the day of the event) Delegate branding at registration

AUDIO VISUAL, TECHNICAL & TRANSLATION We have worked with professional service providers both locally and internationally, including France, Australia, New Zealand, Netherlands, Mauritius and the United Kingdom. We always include an onsite technical team who is on hand throughout the conference. We can provide translation in various languages including French, German and Portuguese. All service providers are required to produce an Engineering Certificate on completion of build-up of the event. All providers must have their own public liability insurance. All aspects of our event management is overseen by a registered Safety Officer to ensure that all requirements of the South African Events & Safety Act are delivered.

EXHIBITION MANAGEMENT We have worked with various exhibition suppliers and we project manage hands on during the build-up and break-down of the exhibition. Engineering certification and compliance to the Events Act of 2008 is provided on completion of build-up including the provision of a dedicated Health & Safety Officer. Cleaners are provided throughout the exhibit. We can facilitate catering solutions during the exhibition including a pre-set up liaison for event infrastructure.

TRANSFERS We offer full turnkey transfer services through a network of suppliers for any size of transfer requirement. All DMC and transport suppliers have Public liability insurance as required by SATSA (South African Tourism Association). Vehicles that are utilized are of the highest standard and all drivers have current Professional Driving Permit (PDP) licences and excellent route knowledge to ensure on time performance.

ACCOMMODATION We have developed excellent supplier agreements with many hotels both locally and internationally and are able to secure the best preferred rates for groups and events.

CERTIFICATION Innovational Consulting is a Level 4 BBBEE Contributor As per the Events Act, Innovational Consulting have a minimum R10 000 000 events liability insurance and can be increased to R100 000 000 depending on the scope and size of the event.
