Soldotna Chamber of Commerce Welcomes New Executive Director The Soldotna Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce that Tami Murray has been selected as the new Executive Director. Tami has been an instrumental part of the Chamber for the last four years as the Visitor Center Coordinator, and more recently the Events Coordinator. The current Director, Michelle Glaves has held this position for the last 11 years and is leaving to pursue other opportunities in the community. Qualifications required: High School Diploma, 1-2 years event planning experience preferred, but willing to make exceptions for the right candidate, experience in fundraising, exceptional organizational and project management skills, exceptional communication skills, proficiency in the Microsoft suite of products (i.e. PowerPoint, Excel, Publisher and Word). Ability to work independently and contribute in a team environment. Previous work experience in a Chamber of Commerce is desirable, as well as experience working for a non-profit organization.
