Transfers - Included in your trip Arrival transfer from airport to hotel in (Seat in Coach). PICK UP Airport in DROP Hotel in Welcome to your 'Getaway Goddess - Iceland' tour! On arrival at the airport in, you will be met by the local representative and transferred to the hotel. is so much more than just a destination; it's a place of exciting possibilities surrounded by incredible landscapes, where countless adventures beckon and a host of natural wonders await. Whether illuminated by the unending daylight of summertime or the spectacular Northern Lights during the winter, has become a popular alternative travel destination for all seasons, where a myriad of marvels and a paradise of possibilities await your arrival! You can sit back in the hotel and relax or head out and spend your first day exploring the town centre. Full of boutiques, cafes and street art, has a lot to offer. You can also experience 'Climb' the tower of Hallgrimskirkja: The church's tower is possibly the most iconic landmark of and the place from where the most iconic over-head shot of the city is taken. There is an elevator leading up most of the way, but to reach the platform you need to climb the last 30 steps or so. Must visit Einar Jonsson sculpture garden: Pretty much every statue and sculpture in was crafted by Einar Jonsson. Reason enough to learn a bit more about his work and visit the Einar Jonsson sculpture garden. The main museum is right next to Hallgrimskirkja, but the sculpture garden is just at the backside of the building. It's very quiet as not many tourists come in here, and entry is free. Explore the street art: In the past years has become famous for its colourful murals and graffitis - ever since the government loosened its zero-tolerance policy for street art. Many walls and lanes are now covered in art, often commissioned by the owners themselves. Most of them are done by local artists, a lot of them women (other than in other cities where male street artists prevail). Also if you get time, check out the door porn all over the city centre. Colourful houses + quirky doors = paradise. Have a coffee break at Roasters: For many the best coffee in town. The beans are ground right in front of your nose, they have yummy oat milk for your lattes and it's OK to bring your mobile office along. Shop at Handknitting Association of Iceland: Shop for a traditional woollen jumper (Lopapeysa) at the shop of Handknitting Association of Iceland. Here you can be sure that your jumper is hand-knitted locally (not produced on a cheap in Asia). The shop is a collective and parts of the sales revenue goes directly to the knitters themselves. Hang out at Harpa: The modern concert hall down by the water. Initially quite controversial, the building quickly became a favourite for all locals who come for classical music, live concerts and performances. During the day the light in the building is particularly beautiful and several people recommended the 1 hour show 'How to become Icelandic in 60 minutes' which is a humorous performance in English.

Whale Watching Safari: Take part in an adventure at sea with an unforgettable trip into the world of whales and sea birds. This tour shall offer you a perfect chance to spot some of the whales swimming close to the coast line. The various types of whales commonly sighted include minke whales, white-beaked dolphins, harbor porpoises and the popular humpback whales, the majestic fin and sei whales and the killer whales (orcas) are also occasional companions to our boats. We will be accompanied by sea birds such as gannets, puffins, guillemots, cormorants, gulls, kittiwakes, arctic terns and many more. Our trips take us past several islands inhabited by colonies of puffin, a great photo opportunity! Between June to August you may even take part in the midnight whale watching adventure! Ideal as a relaxing ending of a busy day or as a beginning of a fun night in town. As our whales never fully sleep...enjoy one of the most advanced whale watching vessels in Iceland and at the same time get a good look at the capital from the sea. Into & Above the Glaciers: An adventure to remember! Snowmobile across the snowy wastes of Langjokull glacier, then descend deep into the ice cap and visit the magical icy underworld though a huge man-made tunnel. We depart from and head to Husafell in Borgarfjordur. From Husafell we start our journey up to the Langjokull Ice Cap. We begin our snowmobiling trip from the Jaki basecamp, on the west side of the Glacier. After putting on the appropriate gear and helmets, we listen to a safety briefing from our guide. After snowmobiling we make our way into the man-made Ice Cave beneath the ice cap. Until very recently, what lies beneath the surface of Langjokull was a mystery. The glacier is constantly moving and the temperature inside it is usually around zero degrees Celsius or 32 Fahrenheit. Thanks to a group of engineers and experts this bold idea became a reality a few years ago enabling us to explore the inside of this magnificent glacier. After snowmobiling and inspecting the Ice Cave we head back to civilisation, or to the small settlement of Husafell. After an active day you can soak in the thermal swimming pool or relax in the hot tub. Truly a day to remember!
