5. Customs documents 5.1. General The Customs documents are required to process the customs clearance at the border of entrance and exit to and from a foreign country. 6. Shipping documents 6.1. Delivery at habour side / dock or cargo receipt Whenever your receive or deliver a car to the harbor fascilities, a dock- or cargo receipt or delivery note will be issued. Please inspect the document very carefully, if all damages, discrepancies and irregularities have been documented and signed by the officer. Please also take photos from each side of the car outside, inside, inside the trunk, all boxes with spares and tools at each place of delivery and receipt! 6.2. Bill of lading / Konnossement Only handled by our shipping agent AFL Logistics 7. Billing of charges / Frachtkosten Bezahlung 7.1. General All transport and handling charges will be invoiced through our agent AFL LOGISTIC in Bremerhaven. We have negotiated, that each party will receive their own invoice on an open credit. This is a very fairly advantage from our shipping agent, as he pays everything for us in advance. Therefore, we have to secure, that all invoices need to be paid immediately upon receipt. We will receive 2 invoices, one for the part Europe-to-New-York, and one for the return freight from Long-Beach-to-Europe. Alle Transport- und Abfertigungskosten werden durch unseren Agenten INTERFRACHT in Bremen berechnet. Wir haben vereinbart, dass jedes Team/Besitzer seine eigene Rechnung auf offenen Kredit erhält. Das ist ein besonderer Vorteil für uns und in der Abrechnung an Privatpersonen unüblich. Dafür müssen wir sicherstellen, dass alle Rechnungen unverzüglich nach Erhalt an den Agenten bezahlt werden. Wir erhalten 2 Rechnungen, eine 13
für den ersten Abschnitt Europa-New-York, und eine für die Rückfracht von Long-Beach nach-europa. 7.2.
