September 2015 Together. We Shape The Future Mid - Monthly Newsletter of Lions International District 202M Sam s Sagacious Spiel To all Lions, Lioness and Leos. I have just returned from an incredible weekend in Auckland, where I along with nearly 50 other Lions attended the most recent ALLI Conference. The Leadership, the Learning and Camaraderie over the three day s was exceptional. To listen and to be involved with well qualified facilitators was a buzz in itself. (Mind you, it was all Go, Go, Go.) There was little time for relaxation, but all this was part of the dynamics of our time together. I have come away feeling elated that I had the privilege of being part of such an opportunity. I feel energised and ready for the next Challenge. I am continuing with my list of Club visitations allocated to me this year on behalf of DG Nalini and sharing of visitations between myself and Rex Bullard as 2nd VDG. It been invaluable to me as I gain a better awareness of each of the Clubs visited. I have been gratified by the manner in which both my wife Janet and I have been made to feel welcome. I have endeavoured to answer all queries during question time and that these Club visitations are all beneficial to all parties. I am still excited to be part of your Lions year and working with a great team under the leadership of District Governor Nalini.
