President s Notes Merry Christmas, it s time to have a party and celebrate another year of Mustangs and friends. The party is December 8th and the location is Hillcrest country club. The party begins at 6:30pm. Please consider bringing a door prize, or two, value about $10. These will go to members that play the game HORSE (Bingo). We strive to have a gift for all of those in attendance to win. The club has bought several hundred dollars worth of gifts, but wants to make sure we have enough. After you win your gift (door prize), you ll have a chance to win the Grand Prize. Also, we are again collecting toys/gifts for the children in the Children s Protective Services. It s the campaign called Christmas is for Kids. Please bring a gift/toy along for ages from birth to age 17 years, value around $10-15 dollars. We will elect officers for the coming year and the position of secretary will be open, along with all others so please consider being an officer of the club. We do need a secretary so that Tommy can rest his hand! No club meeting on December 7th the party is the meeting for the month. See you then, John

December 2017 Meeting Minutes President John Robison tapped the meeting to order at 7:03p.m. Neal wasn t paying attention and missed the sign to whistle the meeting to order. October minutes were approved as posted in the newsletter with a unanimous vote. Sprague was not listening either. Great opening sentence in the October minutes Gordon, hope it works. Treasurer Ronnie Brown reported $8,625.95 and then left early again with the checkbook. The club made $180.00 on the sale of the junk filing cabinets. The Christmas party will be at Hillcrest CC, December 8, $15.00 per person. Text or call Ronnie Brown to RSVP. We will also collect toys for Christmas for Kids at the party. Please bring a kid a gift and something approximately $10.00 of value also for a door prize. A track day at Idalou Raceway was discussed. It would need to be a combined club event since the cost is $1,000.00 for the event. Only two Mustangs were at the Flea Market display. On the subject of events, an events person is needed for the club. Let John know if you are interested. A word to the wise, don t do it just once. Nothing is that temporary. Our sponsor Racer Car Wash now offers a multi-car multi-wash card available. Jimmy reported he has a recurring rash every 45 days. Sprague made the suggestion Jimmy s Shelby might be the source of his rash and made the kind offer to take it off his hands for him. MCA had little to report. Dennis requests prayers for Kay s eye problems. Kay is recovering from glaucoma surgery and on November 20th she will have cataract surgery in her left eye, and possibly cataract surgery in her right eye in December. She may also need another surgery in her right eye sometime next year. Penelope and her grandfather visited the meeting. The helmet therapy appears to be working well. The meeting adjourned at 7:35 p.m. Respectfully, Tommy The still temporary scribe
