DAY 02 2 DAY / 1 NIGHT COLCA TRIP B/L/- Morning departure to Colca Valley, during all the way there will be admired beautiful landscapes, platforms and snow-capped mountains, the reservation of vicuñas. Arrive at Chivay at 13:00 hrs. Aprox. and they will continue up to the thermal baths of The Calera (waters thermos medicinal). Come back to Chivay and installation in its Hotel. Lunch included. DAY 03 2 DAY / 1 NIGHT COLCA TRIP B/L/- Morning departure to Mirador de La Cruz del condor, more strategic zone to estimate the Cannon of the Colca and the flight of the condors, after return for the same way you will estimate the hanging tombs preincas, litomaquetas, viewing-point of terraces and small villages as Pinchollo, Bruise, Yanque, stopping in every village 10 ó 20 minutes. Return to Arequipa. Overnight at selected hotel of Arequipa. DAY 04 TRIP TO CUSCO & CITY TOUR B/-/- At a coordinated time, transfer to Arequipa airport. Flight to Cusco (Not included) AM: Arrival in Cusco, reception at the airport and transfer to the selected hotel. At 14.00 hrs, Guided City Tour visiting the Main Square, known in Inca times as Huacaypata or The Warriors Square, this was the scene for many key events in Cusco s history. The Cathedral, built between 1560 and 1664 with large stones of red granite taken from the Inca Fortress of Sacsayhuaman, the Cathedral is one of the most imposing structures in the city. It also houses one of the most important collections of gold and silver work of the colonial period, elaborately engraved wooden altars and a beautiful collection of oil on canvas paintings from the Escuela Cusqueña. Koricancha and the Santo Domingo Convent. The Convent was built on the spectacular Koricancha (site of gold), the most important temple dedicated to the worship of the Sun and whose walls were plated with sheets of gold. As well as, the convent was built above a foundation of smoothened stone structures, the most finely crafted in Cusco, taken from the Inca Sanctuary. Then, we will continue to the nearby ruins: Kenko, where you will see its underground galleries and its semicircular amphitheater. Tambomachay complex of walls connected by stairways, having water springs which fed a well via channels in which apparently the Inca bathed, for it is believed that he also worshipped water. Puca Pucara; the red fortress that is located on a hill, possibly to defend Tambomachay and Sacsayhuaman Fortress, an imposing example of Inca military architecture, this fortress was built using large slabs of granite to safeguard the city from Antis attacks or invading forces from the east. DAY 05 - CUSCO/SACRED VALLEY B/L/ Breakfast: at the hotel. 09:00hrs TOUR TO SACRED VALLEY. Visit to Pisaq and Ollantaytambo. PISAC MARQUET: Pisac, its located 33 km from Cuzco, this the picturesque Andean town, its very famous because of its handicrafts and its Indian Market. After lunch, you'll visit the Inca fortress of OLLANTAYTAMBO: This Andean toe, is located 21 km from Urubamba. Was called Ollantaytambo in honours of Cacique Ollanta, famous for his romance with Kusi
Qoyllu, daughter of Inca Pacacutec. One of the best conserved areas is in the north and is called Hanan Huacaypata, formed by 15 blocks of old houses built on stone. The site was built just as the Spaniards arrived and evidence of how it was constructed is still visible. After admiring the site's magnificent past, stroll through the quaint streets of today's town. Transfer to your hotel in Sacred Valley. DAY 06 - SACRED VALLEY/MACHU PICCHU /CUSCO B/L/ Breakfast: at the hotel. PIck you up from your hotel and transfer to the station to take the train to Aguas Calientes. *** Train departure time depending the availability Upon arrival in Aguas Calientes, you'll be assisted and take a 25-minute coach ride to "The Lost City of the Incas", discovered by American explorer Hiram Bingham in 1911. Then you ll have a guided tour of the marvellous citadel, an awe-inspiring experience. Later, feel free to stroll around the archaeological site. In front this amazing citadel; you can appreciate the Huayna Picchu. Lunch is included. Return train to Cusco, arrival and transfer to your hotel.
