Ancient Ozarks Natural History Museum: This ground-breaking museum is Johnny Morris way to share the rich history of the Ozarks and the animals and people who came before us. It contains carbon-dated skeletons of ancient Missouri creatures and true-to-life dioramas of animals that once roamed the Ozarks. The Museum houses one of the largest collections of Native American artifacts in the world and showcases the geological history of the Ozarks. Through artifacts, images, text and video you ll learn about the Ozarks and the people and animals who lived here over 12,000 years ago up through the Civil War era. Nowhere else can outdoor Dining at Top of the Rock: Osage Restaurant is the cornerstone dining experience featuring American cuisine in a stunning dining room with sweeping Ozark Mountain views.
