Your Mission Should you choose to accept it About our Camp Each week, children ages 5-12 jump into action, participating in exciting sports programs, exploring nature, becoming involved in performing and creative arts, playing a part in group activities, and attending special events. Hours Monday-Friday Extended Care 8:30 am - 4:30 pm 6:30 am - 6:30 pm Our campers expand their horizons, embark on new adventures, and most importantly have fun. Our exceptional program and dedicated staff create an environment that forges lifelong friendships among our campers. We create a summer experience that is unforgettable! Our camp features a unique selection of indoor and outdoor activities and field trips that take advantage of resources in the local area. Our specialty camps are optional programs, operating during regular camp hours, which provide even more choices for unique and exciting adventures. Activity Blocks Gadgets, Gizmos & Gears Challenging and fun projects encourage collaboration, decision making, and innovation. Students work together to solve problems, while developing a love of math and science. Mission Possible Children learn about how they can be heroes in their communities, and find creative ways to give back to those in need. Film/Photography Campers explore the tools necessary to capture great images and videos, and refine them through digital imaging. Block Party Dream it. Build it. Wreck it. Repeat! Campers build elaborate objects, structures and vehicles, while exploring fundamental principles of engineering and physics. Summer Chef Campers learn kitchen fundamentals and culinary techniques as they slip on their aprons and create yummy snacks. They'll be a master chef in no time! Camper Challenge Secret agent training is underway, as campers participate in obstacle courses, races and various team competitions. Art Frenzy From painting, to sculpting, to drawing and more, campers are empowered to express their inner artist and let their imaginations soar. Excursion Unknown Get your passport ready! Children fearlessly navigate their way through different traditions, games, and cultures from countries around the world. Science Solvers Using extraordinary investigative skills, campers develop hypotheses and conclusions during fun science projects and experiments. Campers Got Talent Jump roping? Hula-hooping? Let your hidden talents shine! Campers develop creativity and confidence through singing, dancing, acting and more. Mysterious Magic Children are immersed into the world of magic and mystery. New This Year! Blazer Tag in Austin Laser Tag is a high tech form of hide-and-go-seek tag for everyone from age 7 to 97. Our laser tag arena is the largest in Texas and has 3 "real" stories of towers and ramps for the ultimate adrenaline rush. Players wear a light-weight vest and carry a futuristic phaser to "tag" opponents with a visible laser light beam and score points. At the end of the game, each player gets a computer-generated scorecard that shows his or her score, hit-to-shot ratio, rank and winning team. Baylor s Children Museum in Waco The Mayborn Museum Complex brings together, in one location, the resources of hands-on discovery rooms and interactive natural science and cultural history galleries, including outdoor exhibits. This rich combination provides a wide spectrum of engaging learning opportunities for learners and visitors of all ages. Cameron Zoo in Waco UNPLUG those video games and connect with colorful creatures. How about an oasis of natural wonder. Slide through acrobatic otters floating around you. Look nose to nose with a lion named Kai. Stand a glass-pane away from gliding clownfish and craggy Komodo dragons. Hear bats flutter, get soaked by a practical-joking orangutan. Come on! Unplug, drop the digital, and connect your kids to a real-life adventure at Waco's 52-acre Natural Habitat Cameron Park Zoo along the Brazos River. Typhoon Texas in Pflugerville The Gully Washer is a dream play land for children with 7 different slides, more than 100 spray areas, splash pad playground and a massive, 800-gallon water bucket that douses the entire play area. Typhoon Texas is also adding a stimulating interactive splash play pad attraction that is sure to ensure a safe, kid friendly family water play experience that this park has been missing. Children will want to come back again and again all Summer long.
