CONVENTION OF TEXAS STATE CHAPTER, P.E.O. SISTERHOOD WESTIN DALLAS PARK CENTRAL HOTEL, 12720 Merit Drive MAY 3-5, 2018 Share the Light of our Star! Dear P.E.O. Sisters, On behalf of the 22 Dallas Area Hostess Chapters, we joyfully and enthusiastically invite you to gather in Dallas for the 2018 Convention of Texas State Chapter, May 3-5, 2018. The recently and beautifully remodeled Westin Dallas Park Central Hotel will host our gathering. Betty Thomas, President of Texas State Chapter, has chosen Share the Light of our Star! as the convention theme. This theme will be present throughout the convention as we celebrate our projects, embrace educational workshops, and enjoy endless opportunities for fellowship and love. Registration opens March 1, 2018 and closes March 31, 2018. It is imperative that you register by the deadline. After that date, any uncommitted hotel rooms will be released. Transportation arrangements need to be considered for all participants. Our hotel is located off Interstate 635 near Coit Road. Hotel garage parking is available at a reduced cost of $3.00 per day and $6.00 overnight. Free parking is available at a surface lot diagonally behind the hotel, across the street from Benihana Restaurant. Transportation from DFW Airport and Love Field Airport is the responsibility of each convention attendee. Options include airport shuttles, taxis, Uber and Lyft. The first delegate workshop will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday. Delegates should ensure hotel arrival in plenty of time to complete delegate registration before this workshop. Delegate and Visitor Registration open at 10:00 a.m. To welcome you and kick off the convention in fine fashion, we have planned a Taste of Italy on Thursday evening at the Westin hotel, a delicious Italian themed buffet dinner featuring the Voices of Venice. This meal is not included with the delegate meals, so each attendee would pay for this pre-convention dinner. To ensure we have enough food prepared, please be sure to indicate on your registration form if you plan to attend. It s a fun way to meet and visit with your sisters, take some pictures, and enjoy the music of the night. WELCOME TO DALLAS!
