The regional priorities are determined through a process where each locality adopts their own priorities, then comes to the table to work with regional partners to determine the Region s priorities. On September 9, 2010, the RAMPO adopted the 2010 Regional, of which the following require additional funding (in order of priority): Parham Road/Patterson Avenue urban intersection improvements 14.00 Widen bridge to four lanes (phased interchange improvements) Improvements needed for Higher Speed Intercity Rail: Richmond (Main Street Station) to Hampton Roads 47 I-64 improvements & widening - Richmond to New Kent / James City County Line (ultimate design ) ** Broad Street Rapid Transit Rapid Transit From Rockett's Landing to Willow Lawn ** GRTC Downtown Transfer Multimodal Transfer Center in Downtown Area Center ** Main Street Station Platforms Extended Platforms on each side of track 35.40 ** Rt 711 (Huguenot Trail) Widening from Rte 288 to Chesterfield County Line 17.02 ** I-295/Meadowville I-295/Meadowville Rd Interchange Interchange (Phase I - interim diamond) ** Forest Hill Avenue Widening from Hathaway Road to east junction of Powhite Parkway ** Jahnke Road Widening from Blakemore Road to Forest Hill Avenue 10.18 * The Region's first priority is to maintain existing funding approved by CTB. ** Projects which are not currently ranked but are still a priority of the Richmond Region.
