Dear Parents and Campers, Thank you for your interest in our wonderful Summer Day Camp! We are currently in the process of planning the most exhilarating and exciting program for all of our summer campers. Please take a look at what we have for your children: We have a flexible schedule that makes it easy for you to customize your busy summer plans. Camp runs from mid-june until labor day. Week 11, the last week of august, is an extended camp week, and it is only available to families enrolled year- round. Camp hours are 9:00AM 3:30PM, with extended hours from 7:00AM 6:00PM. There is a two-week minimum and at least two of your weeks must be consecutive. A few of the programs that Excel Day Camp has to offer are as follows: ming with our Red Cross Certified Instructors, Boating and Fishing, Karate, Ceramics, Archery, Rock Climbing Adventure Course, Dance, Creative Art, Arcade, Hip-Hop, Free, Lacrosse, Survivor, yoga, Tennis, and MORE!! We also have weekly special events such as Carnival Day, Talent Shows, Camp Olympics, as well as Special Guests. Not to mention, we also have wonderful field trips for our campers (5 years and older) - they include, Bowling, Movies, popcorn zoo, citizen s bank park, hiking on the wissahickon, River Tubing, Mini Golf, and Rollerblading Etc Check out everything that Excel day camp has to offer! (Please Read Carefully And Sign Below Thank You!) 1. The camp will be open from 7:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. for children 3 years to 12 years of age. 2. We will be closed one day for the 4 th of july. A full week s tuition will be charged during this week. 3. Each child must have a change of clothing. All articles of clothing must be labeled. 4. Excel is not responsible for any article brought from home. 5. Parents must provide lunch. The day camp will provide snacks. 6. Parents will be called to pick up their child who becomes ill. Children absent from the camp with a contagious illness may not return without a signed statement from a physician indicating that the child is no longer contagious. 7. All children must be signed in and out each morning and afternoon/evening. 8. If we are to administer any medication, parents must COMPLETE and SIGN a Medical Authorization Form. The forms can be found at the Main Office. Medication must have your child s name on it. Please leave the form and medication with the office. 9. There is no allowance / refund / time exchange for absence, or early withdrawal from camp. 10. In the event of an emergency, the camp has the permission of parent or guardian to administer first aide or obtain emergency medical treatment in the child s best interest. Parent or guardian agrees to pay all expenses incurred due to an emergency involving their child. 11. Should the Director determine that a child cannot adjust to the camp s program, the child will be withdrawn, and this agreement will be terminated. No refund will be made. 12. We suggest that you carefully select the dates and days desired for your child(ren). Any changes from your original sign-up must be made in writing and approved by the office. Any changes made after april will be subject to a $25.00 fee and will be granted based on availability. 13. Parent / Guardian gives permission for the camper to participate in all Excel activities. 14. Parent / Guardian gives permission to take photographs of the camper to be used in print materials / other media for promotional purposes. 15. A $30.00 charge will be made on all returned checks. 16. A one-week deposit is required with camp enrollment form. Fifty percent (50%) of the balance is due by the end of april. All deposits and / or payments are refundable prior to the end of april, less a $50.00 administrative fee. The remaining balance is due by the beginning of june. Cancellations between the end of april and the beginning of june are entitled to a 100% refund, less the one-week deposit. From the beginning of june through the end of camp cancellations or withdrawals will result in forfeiture of all moneys paid. As of the beginning of june there is no credit or refund for weeks dropped. If possible we will offer another week for the $25.00 schedule change fee, but space cannot be guaranteed. 17. Families enrolling more than one child may take a 5% discount on the second, third etc., child. 18. All 7:00 A.M. 6:00 P.M. children picked up after 6:00 P.M., and all 9:00 A.M. - 3:30 P.M. children picked up after 3:30 P.M. are subject to late pick-up fees - $15 per child for the first 15 minutes or any part thereof - $20 per child for every 15 minutes or part of 15 minutes thereafter.
