AMERICAN NAVAL CANCELLATIONS FROM N WATERS AN UPDATE incorporating corrections and additions up to Oct 2013 The original list, produced by Jack Hughes, appeared the FOSS newsletter in 1986 and was updated by myself in 1998 [2, 3]. Since then further covers and information have come to light and hence another reason for producing this update of US naval vessels with cancellations relating to the Samoan Islands. I am aware of the Locy classification of US Navy cancellations decided not to complicate the list by adding these cancellation types where they are known to me although I have added the type of vessel [13].
