Day 4 Lao Cai Mong Sen Ta Phin Sapa welcome: is a frontier township and capital of Sa Pa District in Lào Cai Province in northwest Vietnam. It is one of the main market towns in the area, where several ethnic minority groups such as Hmong, Dao (Yao), Giáy, Pho Lu, and Tay live At 06:00 a.m, you will arrive in Lao Cai station and be warmly welcomed by our guide and driver. Then you will have breakfast in a local restaurant and short time for relaxing. At 08:00 a.m, you will reach your hotel in Sapa town. If the room is already available, you can check in and take a short rest or else you will go downhill to Mong Sen where you start a dirt trail through rice fields and villages. Along the way, it is a wonderful scenery with a full of green. Lunch time: 12:30 p.m 01:30 pm After lunch, you continue your trek downhill towards Ta Phin village inhabited by Red Dao and Black Hmong minorities. Upon reaching a waterfall and a hydroelectric station, you will take a short rest before continuing the trek on a dirt trail through rice paddy terraced fields. The area is still covered by rain forest under the protection of Hoang Lien National Park. Then you will arrive at Y Linh Ho village inhabited by Black Hmong people where you have one more rest before climbing toward the main road. Day 10 Tra Que village Hoi An Walking At 09:00 a.m, our guide and driver will meet you at your hotel then you start riding your bicycle to Tra Que village. You firstly will be introduced about the history of the village, the cultivation of the vegetables as well as discovering about the use of vegetables in traditional Vietnamese medicine. Then you will take a trip around the vegetable garden and join the farmers in preparing the land and fertilizing it with seaweed from the local lake. You continue doing activities such as raking, sowing, watering greens, picking greens and many more gardening activities before spending the rest of the morning working the land in the time honoured way.
