Duration: 7days/6nights Tour routing: Hanoi - Halong Bay - Sapa - Hanoi Departure. The northern area of Vietnam is always an attractive destination for tourists visiting the country. You will visit Halong Bay, a UNESCO World Natural Heritage site and New Seven Natural Wonder of the World. Halong Bay offers out-of-this-world kayaking experiences (optional), suitable for both first-time paddlers and the serious marine explorer. Unique and remote limestone islands sprout from the sea, making kayaking through the inlets an exploration on its own. Many of these isolated islands feature dramatic sea caves and sheltered, pristine beaches that can only be reached by kayak. You will enjoy ending your trip with a relaxing traditional junk trip and take part in a wide variety of activities like kayaking, cave climbing or just simply sitting on the sundeck for a glass of wine. After exploring Halong bay, you will return to Hanoi and take the night train to to Lao Cai a China-Vietnamese border city. From Lao Cai there will be a short transfer to the hill town of Sapa and explore the local life of the Black H'mong, and Red Dzao and Dzay ethic group. Arrive at Noi Bai Airport. Pick up at airport and transfer Hanoi city. On arrival check in hotel and relax, stay overnight at Hotel in Hanoi. DAY 2: HANOI - HALONG BAY - OVERNIGHT ON CRUISE (B, L, D) Have breakfast at hotel, then depart for Halong bay. On road through the scenic countryside. The wondrous Halong Bay is truly one of Vietnam s most impressive scenic sights. Heading out of the town we embark on a boat for an exploration of the legendary Halong Bay. This exciting five hour cruise will provide us a fantastic view of the picturesque scenery blending with the sky and some 3, 000 limestone islands rising amazingly from the clear and emerald water. The limestone karsts formations are littered with beaches, grottoes and beautiful caves. Along the way we will anchor for a leisurely swim in a secluded cove and an enjoyable visit to one of the many hidden grottoes beneath towering cliffs. Stay overnight on the Cruise. DAY 3: HANOI - HALONG BAY KAYAKING (B, L, D) Am: Rise up for a breath taking on sundeck, be ready with your camera for a stunning vista in the serene bay. After breakfast, a kayaking support boat will take you further to the Southern end of Halong bay to anchor in the tranquil beauty of Lan Ha, away from the overcrowded water area. Learn some basic paddling techniques, then make your own strokes and private beaches hopping. 2 / 5
Pm: Lunch (BBQ lunch on beach is at tidal permission) and swim at a private beach. More kayaking for more deserted lagoons and exploring quiet floating village. Then goes a perfect time to take in the views in the cool of the afternoon as the last rays of the sun cast reflections over this beautiful area. You would be back on the our cruise at the end of the afternoon. Dinner and overnight on cruise. DAY 4: HALONG BAY - HANOI - NIGHT TRAIN TO SAPA (B, L, -) Waking up and having breakfast served onboard. Continue cruising around the bay. Take sampan to visit Luon Cave and come back to the boat. Having brunch before disembarking and van will pick you up at the pier and transfer back to Hanoi about 3.5 hour by bus ride, get back hotel for rest and have dinner by your own before take night train to Sapa at 21h10. Overnight on train. DAY 5: SAPA - CAT CAT VILLAGE (B, L, D) The train arrives in Lao Cai at 05: 00 am. Pick you up at Laocai station and get bus drive uphill to Sapa. Have breakfast. Relax. Your guide will meet you at hotel for short trek to Cat Cat village, the village of H'mong tribe in the valley, which remains very generally uncorrupted 3 / 5
outside forces. Excellent views of the valley, the magnificent limestone and paddy fields of H'mong village. Enjoy some visits to local families and reach their customs. After the village down into the valley, the Cat Cat waterfall will be visible. A "White curtain" cascade appears, surrounded by flowery valley and deep-green pines, it is ideal for painting pictures. The rocks near the river and waterfall provide a marvelous place for picturesque photos and sunbathing during good weather. Go back to Sapa for check in hotel, have dinner and overnight in Hotel. DAY 6: SAPA - LAO CHAI & TAVAN VILLAGE - HANOI (B, L, -) This morning, trekking to visit Lao Chai and Ta Van villages inhabited by Black H mong and Dzay ethnic minorities. Enjoy amazing and breath-taking landscapes of terraced paddies, green valleys and meet with friendly local people. Back to the hotel and free at leisure. In the afternoon, we transfer you back to Lao Cai station to take night train back to Hanoi. Dinner is by your own and overnight on the train. DAY 7: HANOI CITY TOUR & AIRPORT DEPARTURE (B,L,-) 4 / 5
