Events + Programs It s not what you look at that matters, it s what you see. - Henry David Thoreau Andy Heuiser (907) 262-9814 ext. 14 andy@soldotnachamber.com Soldotna Chamber of Commerce 23 rd Annual Pie Auction Saturday, October 21, 2017 Promote Your Business AND support the Soldotna Chamber of Commerce at the same time! The 23rd Annual Soldotna Chamber s Pie & Dessert Auction, themed Into the Woods, will be held at the Soldotna Regional Sports Complex on Saturday, October 21, 2017. As part of our festivities, there will be a live auction and a variety of raffles. Proceeds from this fundraising event go towards helping our community related activities throughout the year: Peninsula Winter Games, Soldotna Progress Days, Music in the Park, and many more. This annual fundraiser also finances our Student Scholarship Program in its entirety. Over the past 23 years, with the help of our business donors, the Soldotna Chamber has awarded over $260,000.00 in scholarships to students in the greater Soldotna area. We are looking for donations from local businesses to include in the auction and raffles. Guests are always interested in bidding for vacations, behindthe-scenes experiences, and tickets to local sporting, cultural, entertainment, or music events. Our guests also bid on restaurant and hotel experiences, as well as other items that are unique or particular to the area. Auction items need not be your company s products or services, although, those are certainly welcome and of value! We are hoping that every chamber member and chamber friend can donate an auction item. Every donor company will be acknowledged in the Chamber s monthly newsletter (over 500 subscriptions), weekly e- newsletter (over 850 subscriptions), on the Chamber s social media pages (over 14,000 followers), and displayed with the donated item on auction night. Donations will also be printed in the auction s program. You see, you can support the Soldotna Chamber AND promote your business at the same time! Want to show your support in person? Tickets and sponsored tables are also available. Individual tickets are $50 each, or you can reserve a table of 6 for $350. Act now, this is always a sold out event! More information can be found at www.soldotnachamber.com or contact the Chamber office at (907) 262-9814 or by email to andy@soldotnachamber.com. We look forward to seeing you at this year s Pie Auction! Calling all Chefs & Bakers! We re searching for Bakers to donate a dessert creation to our annual auction. The theme is Into the Woods Enchanted Forest, however your creation does not have to match the theme. This is a great opportunity to showcase your business and talents! Please contact us if you are interested in donating a pie or dessert and feel free to share with an individual or business who might be interested in contributing! Contact Andy at (907) 262-9814 or andy@soldotnachamber.com if you re interested in contributing.
