Webb Tours has taken dozens of groups to Alaska. We have hosted thousands to the Great Land over the years. We know what people like to see while there. As such, we will arrange private excursions at the four stops for any who are interested in joining us*. These excursions will be high quality activities that prior guests have loved. Of course, if it doesn t appeal to you, you can choose from other excursions offered by the ship. A director will be with you to make sure you get the most out of your Alaska vacation. But this is Alaska and to get the best stateroom, you should get on board early REMEMBER, you can cancel anytime for any reason up to March 1st, so don t be left out! Daily Itinerary: June 9, 2019: Today we board our flight to Seattle, Washington. We will be transferred to the pier where we will board the lovely Norwegian Jewel for our seven day Alaska cruise. Our ship sails at 4:00 PM. Bon Voyage! June 10: At sea today approaching the fabled Inside Passage. Keep your eyes open for whales or other sea life. Take time to become familiar with the Star Princess. You ll find several restaurants, multiple pools, entertainment venues, beautiful public areas and more. June 11: Wake up in Ketchikan today. Our private excursion a tour of this interesting town showcasing the Totems at Saxman Village, wildlife, a beautiful waterfall and more. In addition, we will see a very entertaining Lumberjack Show and some time to browse the charming waterftont streets. Or choose from a myriad of other options. It is great to be in Alaska! We are in port until 3:00 today. June 12: Before entering Juneau, we will sail into magnificent Tracy Arm Fjord with vertical mountains on either side, often flowing with multiple waterfalls. We often see wildlife in the water or on land. The highlight is sailing as close as possible to the stunning twin glaciers known as the Sawyer Glaciers. At 12:30 PM, we arrive in Juneau, Alaska s scenic capital city. The ship docks right by town so there is much to do within walking distance. Our private excursion today combines gigantic (and accessible) Mendenhall Glacier and a visit to lovely Glacier Gardens (trust us on this one). Or choose a different activity. We will be in port until 10:00 PM. June 13: Port of Call in Skagway. This is the gateway to the Klondike goldfields and there is much to do and see here. Our private excursion includes an entertaining theatrical performance called The Days of 98 Revue, telling the story of Skagway s most famous swindler. We ll then enjoy a scenic drive to the nearby Canadian border, over the famous White Pass enjoying waterfalls, mountains and lovely vistas. You ll still have plenty of time for browsing on your own on the boardwalk streets of old Skagway. We depart at 5:00 PM. June 14: At sea today as we make our way back south. Good day to relax, watch for wildlife and enjoy the many different activities offered by the ship. June 15: In the early evening today, we arrive in Victoria, British Columbia. Our private excursion will take us for an evening visit to the famous Butchart Gardens. You may have been there, but you will always enjoy it again especially on a summer evening. We ll spend two hour and stop by the Inner Harbor on the way back to the ship. June 16: Today we wake up back in Seattle and disembark. We transfer back to the airport for our flights home. *note: A minimum number of participants is required for private shore excursions to operate and for tour director to accompany group. Registration Information: To make a reservation, simply fill out the attached reservation form and send it to us with a deposit of $400 per person. When we receive your deposit, we will mail you a receipt confirming that you are registered for the tour. A letter with instructions, hotel address, flight information and more will be sent be sent 90 days prior to departure at which time the balance will be due. You do not need to pay the balance until after you receive that packet. We require final payments in the form of a check. If that is not possible, arrangements can be made to use a credit card. Webb Tours accepts Visa, Mastercard and Discover for tour deposits. Cancellation Penalties We understand that you may need to cancel your trip for whatever reason. If it is 76 days or more before departure, all money will be refunded. If it is within 75 days, we will charge you only what the cruise line charges us. If cancellation occurs between 75 days and 31 days prior to departure, you will forfeit your deposit. If it is within 30 days of departure, additional penalties (up to the total amount) will apply. For airlines, specifically, tickets are generally non refundable when purchased. However, most airlines will allow the value of the canceled tickets to be reused for future travel, though a penalty may be assessed to reuse the tickets. If you have to cancel, Webb Tours will work with other providers to obtain as much refund as possible for our travelers. Our travelers know us to be very fair in this regard. Cancellation Insurance: Cancellation insurance is also available should you be interested. The insurance provider that we us is a company called Travelex. You can learn about them at www.travelexinsurance.com. With this insurance, most of your money will be returned to you in case you have to cancel for covered reasons (illness or death of an immediate family member) at the last minute. The price for the insurance varies based on the price of the trip and the age of the participant (at the time the insurance is purchased). Insurance also includes trip interruption coverage (if you have to leave the tour early), $500,000 medical evacuation, $50,000 in medical benefits, $1,000 for lost baggage and $250 for baggage delay.
