The locations mean you can ski into the luxury chalet s garden from the blue Santons piste that runs into town, and gently roll down to the ski lifts or get to the ski schools in the morning. The chalet is close to the busy main street of Val D Isere with its famous shops, restaurants and bars. Designed by Oliver Thornton Architects of Stockholm, this modern chalet permeates stylishness and luxury. Glass walls provide a sense of space, allowing for panoramic views of the pistes during the day. The upstairs living area is the most remarkable feature of the luxury ski chalet, with double-height vaulted ceilings, a double lounge, open bar with a beer tap, as well as a log fire and flat screen TV and surround-sound system. Sitting in the lounge and watching the world ski past is one of the most entertaining pastimes at chalet. The imposing black run, La Face, is illuminated at night and provides an atmospheric backdrop to the dining room. On the first level there is a magical wine cave, to choose the wine to go with your dinner prepared for you in the fully equipped kitchen. Surrounding the living area is an upstairs deck, with an 8- person hot tub, which is delightfully soothing after a long day on the piste. Each of the six individually decorated bedrooms contains a double bed adorned with Egyptian cotton linen, which can be turned into a twin if necessary. The en suite bathrooms, created from local marble and reclaimed wood, each have a bath and shower, under-floor heating and heated towel rails. Most of the rooms have either balcony or terrace access. The latest technology, including a flat-screen TV, a Blue- Ray DVD player, ipod dock and sound system is installed in each room. Downstairs, the heated boot room leads into the sauna, hamman and massage area, providing the perfect way to relax and calm your mind.
