I entered the home and met James D. Goodwin, W/M. It was found that Mr. Goodwin had not lived at the residence for several months and was there to see his children. Mr. Goodwin was asked to leave the residence, to which he complied. 07/16/18 10:00 224 MAIN ST, PECULIAR On Monday, July 16, 2018 at approximately 1005 hours, while in the parking lot of the Peculiar Police Department, located at 224 Main Street in Peculiar, Missouri a Deputy who was in training backed in to a parked motor vehicle. The owner of the vehicle was contacted and a damage assessment was conducted. Mr. Nolen was seen by emergency room staff and released back to the Cass County Jail. I was informed that one of the employees, at this place of business, had stolen $400-$450 dollars from the vehicle of the victim, Savannah C. Strickland, W/F. $119 was recovered off of the suspect.
