A crew of five were hand weeding the edges of the Lilyponds for most of the day but did reluctantly resort to a little spraying in special spots. A separate contractor is responsible for the water weeds in the pond. The workers reported seeing Royal Spoonbill, Black Shouldered Kite and several water rats during the day as well the normal residents.
