Welcome About our Camp Each week, children ages 4-12 jump into action, participating in exciting sports programs, exploring nature, becoming involved in performing and creative arts, playing a part in group activities, and attending special events. Our camp features a unique selection of indoor and outdoor activities and field trips that take advantage of resources in the local area. Our specialty camps are optional programs, operating during regular camp hours, which provide even more choices for unique and exciting adventures. Activity Blocks Invention Convention Calling all inventors! We know our campers have big ideas and we want to see them in action. Invention Convention will focus on brainstorming, designing and sharing invention ideas. Digital Vision Campers explore the tools necessary to capture great images and videos, and refine them through digital imaging. Minute to Win It Campers will get a thrill from working together to complete fun, and sometimes silly, tasks all before time runs out on the clock. Ready, set, go! Express Yourself Let your hidden talents shine! Campers develop creativity and confidence through singing, dancing, acting and more. Rise Up Dream it. Build it. Wreck it. Repeat! Campers build elaborate objects, structures and vehicles, while exploring fundamental principles of engineering and physics. Recycled Beautifully Our campers will see how one person's trash can be another person's treasure by turning recycled materials into beautiful and useful items. STEAM Academy Challenging and fun projects encourage collaboration, decision making, and innovation. Students work together to solve problems, while developing a love of science, technology, engineering, art, and math. Leave a Legacy Campers learn about how they can be heroes in their communities, and find creative ways to give back to those in need. Game Changer We hope our campers are ready for some good old fashioned fun. They ll have a blast building their skills in a variety of indoor and outdoor games. Food for Thought Campers learn kitchen fundamentals and culinary techniques as they slip on their aprons and create yummy snacks. They'll be a master chef in no time! Domino Tricks The game of dominoes is fun, but we have a little twist in store for our campers. We are challenging campers to come up with their best domino toppling tricks. Master Maker From painting, to sculpting, to drawing and more, campers are empowered to express their inner artist and let their imaginations soar.
Specialty Camps Philadelphia Eagles All programs led by professional coaches. Philadelphia Eagles Alumni Heroes provide supplemental instruction. Camp staff includes an appointed Athletic Trainer or Health Director. Student-to-Instructor ratio is 10:1. Station-based training format divides kids by age and experience level. Our junior chefs will participate in hands-on culinary and pastry classes. Junior chefs will learn real recipes easy enough to duplicate with their family at home. Each week campers will learn and execute a recipe to share with their family. We will also cover nutrition, ingredient information, and food safety. Our camp kitchen experience will expand your child's dining horizons, reinforce math skills and self-esteem, promote teamwork, and even get them to cook for you! Be prepared for some goodies and ready to heat meals coming home with your very own junior chef. Rate: $120 Date: Ages 8 & up, June 18-21; Ages 5-7, July 30- Aug 2 Time: 9:00-11:00am Floor Hockey Future Wayne Gretzky s will love this camp dedicated to floor hockey! Mr. Bottmeyer will lead the camp and will focus on puck handling, passing and shooting, and goalie skills, as well as teamwork, sportsmanship and basic strategy. Campers will participate in drills and mini games and will conclude the week with a game, open to parents and fellow campers. Rate: $50 Date: June 25-28 Ages: Grades PK-1 & Grades 2 and up
Specialty Camps Horseback Riding Campers will get a safe introduction to riding under the watchful eye of the instructors at Sunset Valley Farm in West Chester. Campers will participate in a customized 4 day experience at Sunset Valley which will include lessons on how to care for horses, riding lessons and a craft. Rate: $150 Dates: June 25-28, August 6-9 Time: 9:30-11:30am Ages: All Ages Basketball Get ready to hoop it up! Mr. Bottmeyer will lead a week long camp focused on basic skills such as dribbling, passing and shooting, as well as teamwork, sportsmanship and basic offensive and defensive strategy. Campers will participate in drills and mini games and will conclude the week with a game, open to parents and fellow campers. Rate: $50 Date: July 9-12 Ages: Grades PK-1 & Grades 2 and up Junior Fashion Week Campers will create a stuffed animal from their own drawings, tie-dye fabric, and even make a project on a sewing machine! No experience, just big ideas, are needed for this artistic adventure. Rate: $125 Date: July 9-12 Ages: Grades K-2 Dine Around the World Dine around the world in 5 days. Students will spend time learning about different cuisines, food etiquette and food history across the different continents. Each day students will travel to a local ethnic restaurant to try different foods. This is a great opportunity for students to step out of their comfort zones and expand their palette. Specialty Camps EXTREME WEEK Campers looking for an extra thrill have the opportunity to sign up for EXTREME WEEK! EXTREME WEEK includes trips to ifly indoor skydiving, Escape West Chester, Marsh Creek, Round One and the Philadelphia Phillies! Rate: $150 Date: July 23-27 Ages: Grades 3 and up Soccer This club will have an emphasis on developing individual soccer skills such as kicking accuracy/power, basic dribbling skills, foot-eye coordination, and passing a soccer ball. Some team skills that will be focused on will be teamwork, communication, and good sportsmanship. And of course, we will have lots of fun playing and learning about the game of soccer. It will be led by Mr. Bottmeyer and held during regular camp hours. Rate: $50 Date: August 6-9 Ages: Grades PK-1 & Grades 2 and up Fashion Week Designers, get ready to make it work! Campers will learn to make their own clothing and accessories with a sewing machine. We ll dye fabric, learn to show off our unique style with professional stitching and embellishing techniques, and walk off at the end of the week wearing our original designs. Rate: $125 Date: August 6-9 Ages: Grades 3 and up Specialty Camps Specialty camps are in addition to regular camp tuition. Camps are dependent upon minimum enrollment. Campers may enroll in 1 specialty camp per week. Campers who are enrolled in specialty camps will not attend swimming trips or field trips for the week. Campers enjoy a relaxing swim in the near half acre size pool. Our kindergarten & 1 st grade campers remain in the shallow end while our 2 nd grade & up campers can take a swim test to swim in the deep end. When campers get hungry or thirsty they can purchase a snack from the full-service snack bar. Campers are supervised by multiple lifeguards as well as by their summer camp counselors. Campers wear bathing suits to camp on pool days & bring a change of clothes. Campers will need a towel. Goggles are permitted.
