Welcome to Oakland County Parks and Recreation! Join us in celebrating family specifically grandparents and grandchildren and the opportunities to make special memories together. This booklet is provided to help maximize your time together. It includes information on activities and events throughout Oakland County Parks. Use it as a guide for exploring favorite parks and discovering new adventures in others. Track your grand times in the book, checking off parks as you visit and sharing memories in the special section in the back. Look for selfie stations at the parks, where you can capture moments together. Also, look for the throughout the booklet; they indicate where your booklet can be stamped or where stickers will be available to add to your booklet. We challenge you to take the grand tour, visiting as many of the parks as possible throughout summer. Your grand adventures will culminate in a special play day on Grandparents Day, Sept. 9, 2018, from 1 4 p.m. at Waterford Oaks.
