Deer Run Cabins The majority of our sleeping accommodations are dorm style (bunk beds) and are located in Deer Run Lodge or cabins in the woods. These are cabins and dorm rooms that can accommodate up to 15 people. Each cabin has its own sinks, toilets and showers. Brookwoods Cabins Brookwoods cabins have lots of bunk beds, a sink and a toilet. The Shower House is divided into men s and women s sections. Please Note: We have split the main cabin and the back room to accommodate more alumni. If you need both, you will need to reserve and pay for both. All Male & All Female Cabins If you re coming on your own or don t need a whole cabin, and are interesting in bunking up with other alumni, we will hold these cabins until August 1st if there is interest. Pricing for families in these cabins can be modified. Chicken Coop The Coop sleeps 4, and is great for a family with young children. Accommodations Private Rooms: Deer Run Lodge & Loon In Deer Run Lodge, there are 10 private rooms complete with bed linens and towels. Seven rooms have queen beds, and three rooms have a king bed or two twin beds. There are 4 private rooms in the Loon, with a queen or king size bed. Each room has a bunk bed, and is complete with bed linens and towels. Please Note: These rooms are available for couples or families with young children. Linens, Sleeping Bags & Towels Please bring your own sleeping bag (or bed linens), towels and pillows if you are staying in a cabin or the Chicken Coop. Standard twin sized sheets will fit our bunk bed mattresses. It s always nice to have a fitted sheet on the mattress, even when sleeping in a sleeping bag. Pancakes, eggs, coffee cake, bacon... Who s ready for breakfast cookout at Inspiration Point?!
Important things to remember If you have any questions about the accommodations, please call our office. If you would like to share a cabin with other families or friends, we are happy to help. All accommodations are on a first-come, first-serve basis. We appreciate early registrations! Select the type of accommodations you desire on the registration form. Please keep in mind that private rooms are ideal for couples and cabins are great for families. Food is not permitted in cabins due to the chance of bears, rodents & snipe attacks. Supervision for children will be the responsibility of the parent throughout the weekend. Camp guidelines will apply for the weekend. These include: the prohibition of the use of tobacco products, alcohol, weapons and fireworks. Camp staff reserves the right to ask guests to change any behavior which is not in keeping with camp policies and philosophy. We request that swimsuits be modest. Medications and medical care will be the responsibility of the individual or family. We will not have a camp nurse during Alumni Camp. Please make arrangements for dogs, cats and bunnies to stay at home. Teddy bears (and other stuffed critters) are welcome. Family fun canoeing over to Plum Island!
