Please select unwrapped toys appropriate for a boy or girl ages 1 to 12. There are many children in the Sonoma County area who will not receive Christmas gifts because of economic or other circumstances beyond their control. This is the 18th year that REMTC has participated in Holiday toy drives to help the Fire Departments of our area have toys to distribute to needy and deserving children. You can bring your unwrapped toys to our monthly meetings or drop them off at Pete & Ginny s or Chris & Joan s homes. Our addresses are in the roster. Hello REMTC, President s Message Wow, has this year gone by fast. I guess that s what happens when you are having so much fun. Pete and Ginny Rich (AKA Mom and Dad), just put on a great tour for us on October 27. It was a beautiful tour to Hales Pumpkin Farm and then on to Lake Sonoma on West Side Road and West Dry Creek. The fall colors were bursting with orange, yellow and red. We truly live in one of the most beautiful places on earth. We have a few things coming up before the end of the year. 1. We have a number of board member positions to fill. This is a very important part of our club, the officers and board members are the backbone of our club. The work they do keeps our club going. If you would like to be a board member please contact me and let me know. 2. Holiday Celebration. This is always a fun time a flyer will be in this newsletter telling you all about it. 3. Flash Tours: There will be a flash tour in November and December. I already have ideas for each. Hope to see you on the tour. Once again I would like to send out a special thanks to all of the families that have put on tours this year. Your hard work makes this the best Model T club in the world. (That s right I said it again) We are the best!!! Joan and I would also like to thank REMTC for the great response we received for our Over Night tour to Willits this year. You always hope that your hard work will pay off and people will like your tour. It is so nice to hear that YOU did. Thank you so much for all the nice cards, your appreciation means the world to us. I look forward to seeing everyone at the Holiday Celebration. Take care, Chris Ed s Notes 3

Fall Color Tour Eighteen Model T s visited a pumpkin barn and then traveled up beautiful West Dry Creek, across the Youkim Bridge to Dry Creek Road and up to Warm Springs Dam for a picnic lunch. The weather was perfect and it made you wonder why people leave Sonoma County to visit the Tuscan region of Italy. It could not be prettier than Westside and West Dry Creek Road. We enjoyed a leisurely lunch at the Juniper Hill picnic site and we had the place to ourselves. Some guessing games on the weight of pumpkins and how many Kandy Korns in the jar yielded small prizes. A piece of apple or pumpkin pie and the day was complete. Home by 2:30 with plenty of time to see the Giants win the World Series! A perfect end to our tour season but keep checking the web site for Flash Tours. Thanks to the Rich family for planning the tour and Larry Summerfield for driving trouble truck. 7
