THE MOMENT is finally here! Welcome to the 2018 LEN European Diving Championships being held at the Royal Commonwealth Pool. Nestled below Edinburgh s famous landmark Arthur s Seat, the Royal Commonwealth Pool has staged many major diving and aquatic events since it was first opened back in 1970, including three Commonwealth Games in 1970, 1986 and 2014. 2 The award-winning Grade A listed building will welcome divers competing from heights of one, three and 10 metres as part of this summer s Glasgow 2018 European Championships.

4 Before You Leave Home Be prepared To enter the venue, you will pass through security screening, which will include a bag search and pat down. Items such as bags in excess of 25 litres, commercial photography equipment, noise-making instruments, glass containers, bulk food, balls, inflatable items and alcoholic beverages are not allowed in any of our venues. There will also be some restrictions on items such as flags and poles, which can t be over 1mx2m, and large umbrellas. Plan your journey Keep up to date with travel information at getreadyglasgow.com Avoid bags For faster access to all venues, don t bring bags. If it is essential, bags should be no more than 25 litres in size and limited to one per person. Bags will be searched upon entry. Remember, there are no cloakrooms or storage facilities available on venue. No smoking Smoking is not permitted at Glasgow 2018 venues. Don t forget your tickets Remember to keep your tickets with you at all times. Make sure your mobile phone is fully charged to allow you to show your e-tickets. Should you have any issues with your tickets before the event contact your point of sale. Arrive early Entry gates will open 60 minutes before competition starts. Once you enter the venue you cannot leave and re-enter.

Only non-alcoholic beverages are available for purchase. Lost and found items All found items can be collected from the information point on Championships days only. Following completion of activities, any unclaimed items will be transferred to Police Scotland. You can contact Police Scotland on 101 for further information. 5
Water refill Stations are located in the spectator seating bowl. ATMs There are no ATMs inside the venue. All food, drink and merchandise units accept cash and card payment. First aid Mobile first aiders are available as needed. Ask a member of staff for support. Merchandise Take home your own piece of the Championships! Merchandise is available from the outlet inside the venue on competition days. Check out our George Square megastore in Glasgow which operates from 18 June 17 August. Baby changing Located inside accessible toilets, which are located on the main concourse. Accessible services Need support at the venue? Our accessibility team will be offering a pushing/ chaperone service from accessible parking to your seat. Look out for the pink access team and access point signage for support. Hearing loops are available from the information point. Accessible toilets are located within the seating bowl and main concourse. Toilets Located in the main concourse. 7 Travel Information Scotland has an excellent transport system and Edinburgh is well served by buses and trains. To experience a positive journey we encourage you to consider the following advice, particularly the recommended walking route. Train Waverley Train station is well served by fully accessible trains across Scotland and England. Bus Service Number: 14, 30 and 33 operate from North Bridge (stop NC) to the Royal Commonwealth Pool. Taxis Drop-off and pick-up points are located on Dalkeith Road. Walking route Up to a 25 minute walk to Royal Commonwealth Pool from Waverley Train Station. See map for details. Spectator parking There is no on venue spectator parking available. Cycle parking Located in the existing venue car park. Subject to availability. Accessible parking Spectators with accessible tickets will be contacted in the coming weeks regarding travel needs and requirements at the venue.
