economy skycouchtm The Economy Skycouch is available on our 777-300ER long-haul services, flying daily between Auckland, Los Angeles and London. It will soon be available on our new fleet of Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners and our upgraded Boeing 777-200ERs. The Skycouch is a row of three seats that easily converts into a flat surface for rest, relaxation and play, giving families the flexibility to travel in a way never before possible in Economy. > The Skycouch can be used as a row of three seats, or a flat surface > Each seat has a leg rest independently adjustable to two positions: 60º and 90º > The couch space measures 5 1 long. The seats are 17.1 wide, with a pitch of 33. They recline 5 > 9 HD capacitive touch screen, shared in-seat power and a USB connection SKYCOUCH DIMENSIONS: > Length of the Economy Skycouch with the side wall armrest up is 1.55m (5ft 1 ). > Depth of the cushion and leg rest combined is approx 74cm (29 ) (measured from the centre of the seat cushion at the back to the front edge of the leg rest).
Booking with galileo Economy Skycouch is now available for sales through your GDS. Economy Skycouch is to be issued as an ancillary product in your GDS by issuing an Electronic Miscellaneous Document (EMD) for payment. Provided there are Economy Skycouch seats available, you can book & hold an Economy Skycouch within the advised time limit. Before an EMD can be issued you MUST have the following in place to complete EMD issuance: > Booking must be completed with a PNR relocator > Request for additional services has been completed via SSR request > E-ticket has been issued FQ/DASO or FQ/DAS* These entries will show a list of optional products for the booked itinerary prepaid checked bags and Skycouch (as shown below) PRIOR to ticketing or at time of itinerary creation. The Skycouch prices are listed as a per couch price for the total number of passengers (adults and children) that will occupy the Skycouch i.e. > 1 Adult and 1 Child, purchase a Skycouch for 2 PSGR. > 2 Adults and 1 Child purchase a Skycouch for 3 PSGR etc. Then the Skycouch is purchased against one passenger only e.g. 3SMITH/A MR/B MRS/C MSTR 2 Adults and 1 Child will be seated in the Skycouch so purchase a Skycouch 3 PSGR. Request a Skycouch for 3 passengers for passenger 1 only (Mr Smith) e.g. DAS01L2P1

DAS0 1 L2 P2 Data Action Sent No of Items Line Number Passenger Number Once the sell entry has been used, Skycouch is requested and they will populate into the SSR field as an ASVC (as shown below for a Skycouch for one passenger booked on two flights) Note: the ASVC message should change from an NN status to KD after a few seconds, just like a seat or meal request does. The PNR will now show a header indicating additional services have been added e.g. 1.1 BROWN/BOBMR 2.1 GREEN/GRAHAMMR 1. NZ 2 V 04MAR AKLLAX HK2 2. Cancelling the SSR ASVC If Skycouch is sold and an attempt is then made to cancel the created SSR ASVC before ET (End Transaction), an error message will be displayed. Agents must ignore or ET the PNR first then cancel the SSR ASVC to complete. Basic entries for cancelling the SSR ASVC: SI.ASVC@ cancel all ASVC for all passengers/all flights. SI.P1S2/ASVC@ cancel all ASVC for passenger 1/segment 2. Issuing the EMD To issue the actual EMD only one standard entry (repeat if required for additional passengers) EMDI PI IC 0863545438380 Command must always be EMDI Electronic Miscellaneous Document Issuance Passenger Numbers i.e. Passenger 1 IC In connection with the particular ticket no Ticket Number i.e. Issue EMD against this this ticket no Use Z modifier to include commission on the EMD (if applicable).
