Commercial Burglaries: Date/Time Address (block range) Method of Entry Description/Suspect Information From: 11/13/2015 5:00pm To: 11/15/2015 6:31pm (Stolen ATV Also) 25000 W Ten Mile Rd. (Commercial Business) Locks were cut/ pried off of the trailer. Status S - Stolen Manufacturer Honda Model Rancher Serial No. License No. Color BLK - Black Vehicle Year 08 Description Black ATV Victim states he arrived at the location and he noticed his trailer (2010 Trail and Sport) door was opened. The trailer was located in the back parking lot behind the business. The area had dim lighting in the parking lot. Victim stored his 2008 Black Honda Rancher (ATV) with a plow in the trailer. When victim looked in the trailer he noticed the ATV was missing. R/P stated he was the only one with the keys to the trailer and no one had permission to take the ATV. R/P s coworker last saw the trailer secured on Friday 11/13/2015. Victim advised that his 2008 Honda Rancher was equipped with a Yellow Warn Plow. He stated that the Rancher was driven around the locked gate through the weeds onto 10 Mile Rd. Victim also advised that the ATV was equipped with a winch. Home Invasion: Date/Time Address (block range) Method of Entry Description/Suspect Information From: 11/09/2015 8:30am To: 11/09/2015 4:30pm From: 11/12/2015 7:40am To: 11/12/2015 3:20pm 21000 Indian St. Rear door was forced open. 20000 La Crosse Ave. No definitive point of entry was established. Victim stated she left the residence at 8:30am and returned home the same day at 4:30pm. Victim observed the back door of the house was forced open and it appeared someone had broken into the home. Victim walked through the residence and noticed her bedroom was disturbed and some of her jewelry was missing. All the other rooms in the residence were not disturbed and she did not notice anything else missing. Victim left residence for at 7:40am. Victim returned home at 3:20pm and discovered his Play Station 4, controllers, and 2 video games were missing from his bedroom. Victim also found that his bedroom window was unlocked however there was no conclusive evidence that entry was gained through this window.

From: 11/12/2015 7:30am To: 11/12/2015 10:00am (Home Invasion & Auto Theft) 18000 New Hampshire Status S - Stolen Manufacturer Mercedes Model S-550 Color WHI - White Vehicle Year 2007 Body Style 4D - 4 Door State MI License Year 2016 Victim left to go to work at 7:30am. At 10:30am victim received a phone call from his neighbor advising his main overhead garage door was open. (Actual time discovered was 10:00am) Victim returned home and discovered his kitchen window had been broken out and entry into the residence had been made. Victim s safe was missing from the residence and his 2007 White Mercedes Benz was missing from the garage. The keys for vehicle were also missing.

11/14/2015 8:42pm 11/11/2015 11:58am 29000 Murray Crescent Front door forced. Victim left the residence at approximately 5:00pm. He returned just before 9:42pm to find his front door forced open. Two of the upstairs bedrooms and a portion of the kitchen had been ransacked. The only item known to be taken at this time is a clear piggy bank from the upstairs bedroom. The piggy bank contained coin change. 22000 Lahser Rd. Possible entry through garage door. The lock box for front door also appears to have been tampered with. Not working now. (Commercial- Electronics) Status S - Stolen Manufacturer DODGE Model INTREPID Color GLD - Gold Vehicle Year 2001 Body Style 4D - 4 Door State MI License Year 2016 Description Dodge Intrepid Notes On Rear Bumper, Sticker Stated "One Hot Mama" Status S - Stolen Manufacturer GMC Model YUKON Color SIL - Silver or Aluminum Vehicle Year 2001 Body Style State MI Description 01 GMC YUKON Notes 26 INCH WHEELS. Victim states he valets parked his vehicle at the hospital at 5:45am. Victim returned to valet to get his vehicle at 1:00pm. Valet couldn t locate victim s vehicle. Valet still had victim s keys to his vehicle. A witness states he observed vehicle leaving the parking lot. No further details or description of subject driving the vehicle. Security is going to check their video surveillance. Victim arrived at work at 9:00am and parked his 2001 GMC Yukon in his usual spot in the parking lot in front of the store. Victim was advised after reporting his vehicle stolen that a fellow employee noticed victims vehicle wasn t parked in its usual spot in the parking lot at 12:00pm. It appears that vehicle was taken sometime between 9:00am- 12:00pm.

11/12/2015 5:22pm 26000 Franklin Rd. (Nursing Home) Status S - Stolen Value 3500 Manufacturer GMC Model ENVOY Color Vehicle Year 2003 Body Style State MI Description Red Victim advises she parked vehicle in the south lot of business at 8:00am. Victim returned to her vehicle at 4:00pm and discovered the vehicle had been stolen. A witness advised that she observed at least 3 dark skinned black males in the lot at approx. 3:10pm. The witness advised that she had gone out to her vehicle and spotted two of the males standing in-between vehicles in the lot and a third standing by the possible suspect vehicles. Witness described the suspect vehicles as two red vans, one larger panel van and one smaller panel van. The suspects jumped into the vans pulled onto s/b Franklin Rd and pulled into the old Holiday Inn lot and headed toward Telegraph Rd. Note: There were also 4- LFA s that occurred in the lot at the same time.

(Commercial Office) Status S - Stolen Manufacturer CHEVROLET Model SUBURBAN Color MAR - Maroon or Burgundy Vehicle Year 2003 Body Style 4D - 4 Door State MI License Year 2016 Description 2003 BURGANDY CHEVY SUBURBAN Notes Round LCB Black & Gold Sticker In Back Window. Victim stated she parked her Chevy Suburban in the back (south) parking lot at the Office Building at approx. 8:30am. Victim discovered it missing when she returned to her vehicle at 5:39pm.

11/13/2015 9:34pm (Embezzlement > $1000.00 Also) 22000 Greenfield Rd. (Commercial- Party Shop) Status S - Stolen Manufacturer CHEVROLET Model TAHOE Color MAR - Maroon or Burgundy Vehicle Year 2002 Body Style State MI License Year 2016 Victim is the owner of the Party Store. Victim advised that suspect is a wayward employee that has been working for the family for four years. At approximately 2 p.m., victim gave suspect (employee) an undisclosed amount of money to pick up liquor from a supplier. Suspect never arrived to the supplier nor did he return to the store. Victim tried several times to call suspect but his phone goes directly to voicemail. Suspect was also given and is driving victims 2002 Chevy Tahoe to make the pickup. Victim located his vehicle at a residence in Detroit that suspect frequents. Victim was advised to contact DPD to recover his vehicle. Unknown at this time if the vehicle was recovered. Suspect has been identified and incident is under investigation. Tips: Never leave your vehicle running unattended Park in areas where your vehicle is viewable if possible Use commercially available security devices

(Nursing Home) Attempt to take All Four Wheels & Tires from 2014 Ford Taurus SHO. Victims 2010 GMC Acadia had its rear window broken out and the vehicle was ransacked. Victim states he was just leaving his apartment and hit the remote start on his vehicle. Victim immediately noticed 3- B/M s running from his vehicle. The suspects got into an unknown vehicle and fled the area. Suspects had removed all the lug nuts from victim s wheels but they didn t get any of the wheels & tires. Victim advises she parked vehicle in the south lot of business at 8:00am. Victim returned to her vehicle at 4:00pm and discovered the vehicle had been broken into and ransacked. A witness advised that she observed at least 3 dark skinned black males in the lot at approx. 3:10pm. The witness advised that she had gone out to her vehicle and spotted two of the males standing in-between vehicles in the lot and a third standing by the possible suspect vehicles. Witness described the suspect vehicles as two red vans, one larger panel van and one smaller panel van. The suspects jumped into the vans pulled onto s/b Franklin Rd and pulled into the old Holiday Inn lot and headed toward Telegraph Rd. Victim noticed her driver rear window was smashed out and her car was ransacked. At this time victim stated that nothing was missing from inside her vehicle that she could see. A witness advised that she observed at least 3 dark skinned black males in the lot at approx. 3:10pm. The witness advised that she had gone out to her vehicle and spotted two of the males standing in-between vehicles in the lot and a third standing by the possible suspect vehicles. Witness described the suspect vehicles as two red vans, one larger panel van and one smaller panel van. From: 11/12/2015 6:45am To: 11/12/2015 4:00pm 26000 Franklin Rd (Nursing Home) Several items were taken from victims 2014 Dodge Charger: Victim stated that she parked and locked her Black 2014 Dodge Charger in the lot at approx. 6:45am and were later notified over the PA system at her work that several vehicles were tampered with in the parking lot. Victim went out to the lot and observed her vehicle was rummaged thru with numerous personal items taken from inside the vehicle and trunk area. Victim also discovered her door lock was tampered with. A witness advised that she observed at least 3 dark skinned black males in the lot at approx. 3:10pm. The witness advised that she had gone out to her vehicle and spotted two of the males standing in-between vehicles in the lot and a third standing by the possible suspect vehicles. Witness described the suspect vehicles as two red vans, one larger panel van and one smaller panel van. From: 11/12/2015 12:53pm To: 11/12/2015 4:00pm 26000 Franklin Rd. (Nursing Home) Several items including a wallet were taken from victims 2008 Dodge Charger: Victim advises vehicle was parked and locked at 12:53pm in the parking lot. Victim was later notified via PA system at her work that several vehicles were broken into. Victim discovered her driver s door lock was damaged and someone had ransacked and taken several items from the vehicle. A witness advised that she observed at least 3 dark skinned black males in the lot at approx. 3:10pm. The witness advised that she had gone out to her vehicle and spotted two of the males standing in between vehicles in the lot and a third standing by the possible suspect vehicles. Witness described the suspect vehicles as two red vans, one larger panel van and one smaller panel van. The suspects jumped into the vans pulled onto s/b Franklin Rd and pulled into the old Holiday Inn lot and headed toward Telegraph Rd. 11/13/2015 10:30am 18000 W Eight Mile Rd. (Commercial- Grocery) Both Driver Side Wheel & Tires were taken from 2015 Lincoln MKZ. Victim is an employee at Grocery Store. Officers were able to review the store's Surveillance Video Footage. Suspect vehicle was observed entering the lot and backed in next to victim s vehicle at 10:32am and pulled out at 10:36am. The suspect vehicle appeared to be an early to mid-2000 Dodge Caravan, Purple or Maroon in color. The suspect vehicle was missing 3 hubcaps and the only one visible was the driver's side front. The vehicle exited the lot and went toward 8 Mile.

11/11/2015 8:26pm 22000 Twelve Mile Rd. (Apartments) Attempt to take Wheels & Tires from Ford Taurus. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Locking Lug Nuts are a good Crime Prevention tool; however, citizens should be sure to secure the key for the locking lug nuts in a secure location that it would be difficult to find. Never put it in the glove box or center console! >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Victim advises someone attempted to take Wheels & Tires from Ford Taurus. The lug nuts were removed from both passenger side wheels. It appears that the suspects didn t take the wheels & tires because victim had locking lug nuts on the wheels.

11/14/2015 5:00pm 27000 Franklin Rd. Backpack was taken. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Citizens should never leave anything of value in the interior of their vehicles. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Tips: Ensure your vehicle is locked at all times and valuables are out of sight. Armed Robbery: Date/Time Address (block range) Item Taken Details 11/15/2015 5:05pm 28000 Franklin Rd. (Hotel) Cell Phone was taken. Victim states he arrived at the Hotel around 4:30am and parked in the northwest part of the parking lot, next to a shuttle bus. Victim states he was waiting to pick up his brother. Victim was watching TV on his phone and falling asleep. Victim was awakened by a subject in dark clothing and a face mask pointing a gun at him and demanding his property. Victim gave the suspect his cell phone and then ran to the hotel and found his brother who called 911. Victim states that the suspect was possibly a light skinned b/m, but he had no further description and no vehicle info or direction of travel. Victim s brother states that immediately after the incident they went back outside and observed a white possible Honda going fast s/b on Franklin Rd. They believe it might have been involved. Unarmed Robbery: 11/14/2015 9:39am 21000 Northwestern (Bus Stop) Cell Phone, Cash & 3-Personal Checks were taken. Victim was at the Bus Stop when he was approached by two subjects demanding his money and goods. When victim told suspects he didn t have anything to give them the two suspects starting punching victim in the head and face, and knocked him to the ground. The suspects then went into victim s pockets and took his cell phone, cash and 3- Personal Checks. The suspects then got onto a bus in an attempt to flee the area. When the bus driver delayed leaving, the suspects fled on foot into Oak Park. The bus in question is equipped with a video camera system which should have captured footage of the suspects. Incident is under investigation. 11/15/2015 2:23pm 26000 Central Park Blvd. (Hotel) Purse with contents was taken. The purse was gold with a tassel. Victim (male) advises male friend (suspect) was staying at Hotel with him. When victim asked his friend to step outside so he could take a shower suspect forced his way back into the hotel room. Suspect then yielded a knife and started making slashing motions with it. Victim fled into the bathroom where suspect continued to pursue victim. Suspect eventually took victims purse and fled the hotel. Victim states he only knows the suspect by his first name. (Nursing Home) Thursday- 11/12/2015 3:10pm A witness advised that she observed at least 3 dark skinned black males in the lot at approx. 3:10pm. The witness advised that she had gone out to her vehicle and spotted two of the males standing in between vehicles in the lot and a third standing by the possible suspect vehicles. Witness described the suspect vehicles as two red vans, one larger panel van and one smaller panel van. The suspects jumped into the vans pulled onto s/b Franklin Rd and pulled into the old Holiday Inn lot and headed toward Telegraph Rd. Arrests by SPD Officers: CCW/ Possession of Marijuana- 1- Arrest 11/10/2015 12:37am W Ten Mile Rd & Southfield Rd Officers were dispatched to location on report of possible Domestic Assault in progress. Officers arrived in area and located a male subject standing over a female. Officers recovered handgun from the glove box of vehicle. The handgun registered to the male subject. (No CPL) Officers also recovered suspected marijuana from suspect s pants pocket. A Southfield Police Evidence Technician Field Tested the suspected marijuana. The result was positive for possible presence of marijuana. Officer s investigation led to the arrest of male subject for CCW & Possession of Marijuana. Incident was submitted for Complaint & Warrant and suspect was arraigned on both counts.

(Grocery Store) Friday- 11/13/2015 10:30am Suspect vehicle was observed entering the parking lot and backed in next to victim s vehicle at 10:32am and pulled out at 10:36am. The suspect vehicle appeared to be an early to mid- 2000 Dodge Caravan, purple or maroon in color. The suspect vehicle was missing 3 hubcaps and the only one visible was the driver's side front. OWI- 1- Arrest 10 Mile/ Telegraph Rd. Officer observed a vehicle driving erratically and stopped it to investigate. After the investigation was complete the driver was arrested for OWI. This is the suspect s second OWI arrest. He is currently on probation for same. Special Attention: AOD- Marijuana Grow House 19000 Block of Nine Mile Rd. 1:35pm AOD- Fire Department who responded to a fire in the basement at residence. Fire Department discovered suspected marijuana plants. The Police responded to the residence. The suspected marijuana plants were confiscated and incident is under investigation. OWI- 1- Arrest 10 Mile/ Lahser Rd. Officer observed a vehicle traveling in excess of the posted speed limit and affected a stop. His investigation revealed the driver to be intoxicated, and he was placed under arrest. He was transported to the jail, processed & lodged.

Suspect vehicle was observed entering the lot and backed in next to victim s vehicle at 10:32am and pulled out at 10:36am. The suspect vehicle appeared to be an early to mid- 2000 Dodge Caravan, purple or maroon in color. The suspect vehicle was missing 3 hubcaps and the only one visible was the driver's side front. 3-22000 Block of Twelve Mile Rd. (Apartment Complex) Attempt only on Ford Taurus. Vehicle had locking lug nuts! OWI- 1- Arrest Greenfield & Mt. Vernon 1:03pm Officer observed a vehicle stopped and blocking the roadway. Further investigation revealed that the driver was passed out at the wheel. Investigation revealed the 39 year old female driver to be intoxicated. She was arrested and lodged. OWI- 1- Arrest 12 Mile Rd/ Case St. 3:04am Southfield Officers stopped a vehicle for no tail lights and swerving. Investigation revealed that the driver (23 year old male) had been drinking and was intoxicated. He was arrested and lodged for OWI.
