Option Selection Which of the following service options meets your travel needs? (Select all that apply) 180 160 140 120 100 80 60 40 20 0 166 120 Option 1 Option 2 Option 3 More frequent service on weekdays/saturday Total responses: 445 Sunday service 159 Limited Sunday service and later service on weekdays/saturday Comprehensive Route Analysis
Service Option 1: What We Heard Many positive responses related to more frequent service on weekdays and Saturdays Anything that makes transit service more frequent ultimately makes transit service more attractive, in my opinion. I would rather see the money spent to increase frequency wherever possible than to expand routes or add Sunday service. Some commenters mention hours extended later into the evening would also be helpful Improvements to Route 90 are helpful; prefer hours to be extended into later evening. Comprehensive Route Analysis
Service Option 2: What We Heard Many commenters support Sunday service Sunday service is imperative for those who do not have a car and need to work on Sundays. It provides access for a lot of people in my neighborhood to access services, churches, ferries, etc. on Sundays. I would use it occasionally, but I think it would be a great option for a lot of people. Sunday service is irrelevant for other commenters Rather than Sunday service, I'd prefer the resources are spent on later weekday and earlier and later Saturday routes. I do not expect to use transit on Sunday, so this will not affect me. Comprehensive Route Analysis
Service Option 3: What We Heard Many respondents like this option as a compromise between Option 1 and Option 2 I like the Sunday service on the 90 and that it goes until 10pm on weeknights. I like Sunday routes and later routes everyday. Significant support for later evening service I think the later service for some routes would be good for workers to avoid having to take a taxi late at night. I like the expanded weekday service. Saturday/ Sunday service is not important to me. Comprehensive Route Analysis
Option Selection: Option 1/Option 3 Hybrid Based on public feedback, move forward with hybrid of Option 1 and Option 3 More frequent service on weekdays and Saturdays Longer hours of service on weekdays and Saturdays Sunday service will remain an important future priority as additional funding becomes available 180 160 140 120 100 80 60 40 20 0 Which of the following service options meets your travel needs? Bremerton: What We Heard Support for more frequent connections to Silverdale Support for new transfer location at WinCo Provide later weekday service Add Saturday service for Route 23 Ensure combined routes can handle passenger loads from Route 15 and 19 at 6:15 and 6:45 am Maintain Route 15 ferry connection Longer walk for some Route 21 passengers Other commenters supportive of more direct service TRANSFORM Comprehensive TRANSIT: Route Let s Analysis map our future together
Silverdale: What We Heard Support for 30 minute service to Silverdale Concerns about eliminating Route 33 service on Ridgetop Provide more trips on Route 33 Provide earlier service on Route 32 Provide local service on Randall TRANSFORM Comprehensive TRANSIT: Route Let s Analysis map our future together
Poulsbo/Kingston/North Kitsap: What We Heard Support for Route 44 Support for more frequent service on Route 90 Concerns about Route 90 and Gateway Fellowship Park and Ride Concerns about losing the Route 91 connection to Kingston and Bainbridge Ferry Other commenters supportive of connection to Poulsbo, but not at commute times Need for more trips on Route 91 Support for Route 88 and 89 But not at the expense of Route 91 Provide service from Indianola to Kingston to meet new fast ferry TRANSFORM Comprehensive TRANSIT: Route Let s Analysis map our future together
Bainbridge Island: What We Heard Eliminating service segments will be challenging for riders Support for later and more frequent service on Route 90 We will be re evaluating the Revised Route Network on Bainbridge Island as part of this process TRANSFORM Comprehensive TRANSIT: Route Let s Analysis map our future together
