DAY ONE- THREE Victoria Falls Zimbabwe (DAY 1 L, DAY 2, 3 & 4 B) You will be picked up from the airport for your three days in Victoria Falls. The airport is located approximately 21km from the Victoria Falls Town. Known as the adventure capital of Africa you will have time to see the breathtaking views of the majestic waterfall and also get time to participate in any of the many optional activities the town has to offer. See optional activity list attached DAY FOUR Chobe National Park Botswana (LD) Undoubtedly one of Africa s most beautiful rivers, the Chobe supports diversity and concentration of wildlife unparallel anywhere else in the country. You will enjoy a cruise on the Chobe River giving you fantastic game viewing and birding and then a game drive after lunch in the Chobe National park for the massive heads of elephants and most of the big plains game. You will then arrive at Toro River Lodge for your overnight.set on the banks of the Chobe River Toro lodge is a perfect place to reminisce on the day s activities and the tranquility of the river is a perfect way of finishing the day. You will have dinner at the lodge. DAY FIVE Maun-Botswana (BD) An OPTIONAL morning game drive can be done before we depart After breakfast we embark on the longest day drive of the whole trip from Chobe National Park to the delta town of Maun. We will stop over half way in the town of Nata for lunch and leg stretch before covering the last half of the journey. Lunch is on clients account and a cooler box with mineral water will be provided for this leg of the journey We will arrive in Maun late afternoon and will put up in for the night where accommodation is in rustic cabins. Dinner will be served at the camp restaurant and you will have a pre departure meeting to cover the main aspects of your two nights in Okavango delta.
DAY SIX Okavango Delta-Botswana (B, L, D) This morning we take a drive towards the delta just after breakfast with all our camping gear. Upon reaching the river all equipment will be loaded into the Mokoros by your Mokoro guide. Excellent photography as you glide through the channels. You will be assisted in setting up camp and after settling in and lunch you will embark on a game walk in the late afternoon and then return to camp where you can cook dinner in an open fire and be surrounded by the magic night sounds of the bush. DAY SEVEN Okavango Delta- Botswana (B, L, D) An early morning start you can either go on an early Mokoro or a game walk. On most of the walks you will come across so the big game and occasionally cats. Being a birding paradise the delta gives you some fantastic sighting of different species of birds. As it gets hotter during the day we take a siesta in the shades around the camp. A perfect time to read or update your travel journals. During the cooler part of the afternoon you will embark on another game excursion and come back into camp just before sunset for a cool shower and dinner. DAY EIGHT Maun Botswana (B, L, D) A final walking safari for those who wish as this is the day we head out the crystal clear magic of the delta and onto the Mokoro to pick up vehicle at the edge of the river. We will head back to camp site. The early afternoon will be spent besides the pool area after lunch. The highlight of the day is the late afternoon scenic flight giving you a bird s eye view of the area you have been in the last two days. The scenery is breathtaking and most people are at ewe as the sight is quite phenomenal. Grab your cameras for this highlight!!!
DAY NINE Moremi Game Park-Botwana (B, L, D) We leave Maun at around 7am and drive through traditional villages before entering the South Gate into what is undoubtedly one of the top wildlife destinations in Africa. Moremi Game Reserve is situated in the central and eastern areas of the Okavango, and includes the Moremi Tongue and chief s island, boasting one of the richest and most diverse ecosystems on the continent. It consists of seasonal pans and permanent swamps and covering an area of 4870 square kilometers. This makes for spectacular game viewing and bird watching, including all major naturally occurring herbivore and carnivore species in the region. Not forgetting over 400 species of birds, many migratory and some endangered. Plus.both Black and White Rhino have recently been re-introduced, now making the reserve a Big Five destination. This is a full day trip with a stopover for lunch in the afternoon and we are back in Maun around 1800hrs. This is our last night in the town of Maun. DAY TEN After breakfast we embark on the drive from the town of Maun in Botwana and across the border into Namibia. We will overnight just after the border at Zelda Farm and this marks the last night of this leg of the Adventurer safari. We arrive at our accommodation for today just after midday. You will have a free afternoon and dinner at the lodge. Lunch on this day is at the clients own account. DAY 11 After breakfast we drive to the Capital City of Namibia Windhoek, where our trips end.
