Head Road Captains and Safety Report Muzz spoke about people when on a ride and overtaking. Members need to be aware that no one will be left behind and that you don t need to overtake over solid white lines to attempt to keep up with the lead rider. Please keep this in mind as we need to be safe and arrive together. Keep in a close group so that the group does not get separated with cars coming between riders, this will also increase safety. Assistant Director report Gatz Gatz has now more stickers for sale for the Geelong hog club, if needing one or more please see Gatz at the meetings. Stickers are $3- each or 2 for $5. Desk calendars for 2016 are available for members, see Gatz for one. Meeting minutes 25th May 1 of 6

Treasurer s Report Felicity reported that the funds coming in this month was $1057.60 from membership / Raffles, and out goings for the month were $975.00 for flowers to members and Anzac day flowers/ breakfast, also for stamps & SMS costs for membership. Secretary s Report Thank you letter received from Cottage by the Sea for the club and special mention for Rodney McKinnis (Rocken Rod) who shaved his head at an overnighter to raise funds to the Cottage. Money raised will be used for toiletries, balls & stationery for children who are less fortunate and putting a smile on their faces with the funds raised to help. Director s Update Haven t been able to attend many events this month due to other commitments Club overnighter to Port Fairy went off well with 70s trivia night from all accounts everybody had a great time and arrived home safely. Club ride had good numbers once again. Like to thank Tania and Bodge for overnighter and Muzz for doing club ride. Membership Officers Update: Membership are due by 30 th June, $10 discount if paid before must be a member of HOG international to be club member. Forms are available on the meeting nights, on webpage and at the shop for completion. All forms must be signed and dated for renewal. Ladies of Harley Next dinner will be on the 22 nd June @ 6.30pm at House of Shalimar 68 Mercer Street, Geelong. AMG Friday August 5 th at RSL booked at 6.00pm to 6.30pm for a meal and AGM meeting to start at 8.00pm. All positions become available if interested contact committee. Meeting should be all done by 9.00pm. Meeting minutes 25th May 2 of 6

Shop Update Colin was the spoke person for the shop tonight and brought up that the shop is having demo release days for the month of June on Saturdays. If any members could come along to assist with the BBQ or on demo rides being tail end Charlie or leading the rides. This is for every Saturday during the month of June. Monthly newsletter, if anyone has any news or information that they want in HOG newsletter, needs to forward this to Hollie at the shop. Email address for Hollie is hollie@geelongharley-davidson.com.au Big thank you from Colin to Chris and everyone at the Hotham for all the support and looking after everyone each month at meetings and functions. Colin also introduce us to new staff member Jason, if you don t know Jason please make yourself know to him at the shop or at the meetings. Merchandise Update Trish was unwell on the night of the meeting but we are looking forward to getting some stock in and ready for purchase for everyone. Thank you for your patience. Social Events & Dates Social night at Sir Charles Hotham Hotel May 28 th Fancy Dress Party $10 per head Drinks at bar prices. See Belly to advise if coming to assist with catering. Pay on the night. Clay target shooting day at Colac Gun club looking at this stage 17 th July. Guns, targets, shells x 25 possible BBQ, Approx. $30- per person. Beer fridge afterwards at own expense once shooting completed. EOI to let Eric Ford or Bear know. Currently looking at being at the gun club about 11.00am-11.30am for shooting. There are 2 traps which can allow 6 members to shoot at the same time. (unlike the slip of tongue that bear said we can shoot 6 people as once). A membership book will be required to be signed. If wanting to come, please give Bear or Eric Ford the heads up so that number can be provided to gun club. Overnighter September 11 th now looking to be a trip to Tooleybuc. Rocken Rod to have details out shortly if wanting to go along for a great weekend please put your details down. Overnighter October 8 th -9th Mulwala cost $75 same as last year bed, nibbles and drinks included. First 24 stay at units overflow to motel next door. See Belly- total of 20 people have got their names down with only 2 people have paid as yet. See Belly asap as he is not here in August. Geelong Hog Christmas Party December 3 rd at Geelong Hotel Keep date free costings not as yet worked out. Names to Belly please if wanting to go. Non Geelong Hog Events Sydney Hog Chapter ride to Uluru September 2016 as per email sent out on the16 th Jan Rallys 2016 Harley Days Event (new National Rally format) 28 th 30 th October at Wollongong. If intending to go get behind early to help with rally nos. etc 2016 SA Rally at Wallaroo 30 th September 3 rd October 2017 Victorian State Rally at Hepburn Springs (Brunswick) 11 th 13 th March. General Business: Andrew Love Cancer Ride September 18 th leaving GHD 10am ride Gala Dinner on November 5 th at the Motor Museum old Geelong Distillery. Saturday BBQ/Coffee & Cake Traditionally for new members to come and meet existing members for a chat and then possibly a short ride afterwards. A summer is now gone and moving into the cooler months, donuts and coffee. Come in the shop and a chat and a catch up the Saturday morning after the monthly meeting. Monthly Club Ride Around the bay the other way June 5 th (now 19 th June) Muzz is going to be the Head Road Captain on the day. Leaving from North Bound BP Services Station Geelong Ring Road, meeting up at 8.30am for 9.00am leaving. Around the Room Geelong Harley Owners Group Belly & Muzz wanted to raise the First Aide kit that is currently being held at Belly s place to be taken on club rides. Tail end Charlie is to have the kit and to return to belly once ride completed. Also a big thank you to Tania & Bodge for a great weekend organised for the overnighter to Port Fairy. Trivia night was a great hit and everyone had a ball. Road captains are to advise Bear if still wanting to be a road captain in the next financial year. Please let Bear know what your wanting to do.
