Day 1: Vancouver Arrival (26 Apr 2018) Arrive in Vancouver and spend time exploring this scenic city on your own. Overnight in Vancouver. Day 2: Vancouver to Kamloops (27 Apr 2018) Breakfast & Lunch Travel onboard the Rocky Mountaineer from the coastal city of Vancouver to Kamloops, in the heart of British Columbia s interior. On today s journey you will see dramatic changes in scenery, from the lush green fields of the Fraser Valley, through forests and winding river canyons surrounded by the peaks of the Coast and Cascade Mountains, to the desert-like environment of the BC Interior. Highlights include the rushing waters of Hell s Gate in the Fraser Canyon and the steep slopes and rock sheds along the Thompson River. Your day concludes as the Rocky Mountaineer travels along the shores of Kamloops Lake into Kamloops. Day 3: Kamloops to Jasper (29 Apr 2018) Breakfast & Lunch Your journey continues north and east to the mighty Canadian Rockies and the province of Alberta. Once again you will be surrounded by dramatic scenery as you follow the banks of the North Thompson River through the Monashee and Cariboo Mountains, climbing ever nearer to the high peaks of the Continental Divide. Today s highlights include Mount Robson, at 3,954 metres (12,972 feet) the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies, Pyramid Falls, and the climb over the Yellowhead Pass into Jasper National Park. Your rail journey ends this evening on arrival in the resort town of Jasper. Day 4: Jasper Highlights Tour (30 Apr 2018) Breakfast Jasper National Park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the Canadian Rockies largest national park. Today you will enjoy a scenic half-day tour of some of the park s natural attractions and rugged peaks, and perhaps catch a glimpse of the wildlife that calls this region home. The remainder of the day is free for you to explore more of Jasper independently. Day 5: Jasper to Banff (01 May 2018) Breakfast A stop will be made at Athabasca Falls before arriving at the Columbia Icefield. Here you will ride on an Ice Explorer to the middle of the Athabasca Glacier to learn more about its geological features. Your driver/guide will explain how glaciers are formed and point out some interesting geological features. Time will be available for lunch (not included). Afterwards, a brief stop will be made at Bow Lake before arriving in Banff this afternoon. Day 6: Banff to Lake Louise (02 May 2018) Breakfast & Dinner This morning you are free to explore beautiful Banff on your own. After lunch, a half-day tour takes you into Yoho National Park to view some of its natural wonders. Among the attractions are the Spiral Tunnels, Emerald Lake and a natural rock bridge that spans the Kicking Horse River. At the end of the tour you will be transferred to Lake Louise. Day 7: Lake Louise to Calgary (03 May 2018) Breakfast Today you will enjoy a full-day tour concluding in Calgary. Begin the morning with a sightseeing tour of Banff. Among the points of interest are Bow Falls, Lake Minnewanka, Surprise Corner and the Hoodoos. Banff Gondola included. Continue on to Kananaskis for the highlight of today s adventure, a 12-minute Summit Helicopter Tour over the remarkable landscape of the Rockies. Overnight in Calgary Day 8: Calgary Departure (04 May 2018) Breakfast After breakfast, enjoy time at leisure before being transferred to the airport for your departing flights.

Terms and conditions Delays/ flights The timing of air, sea, road or rail departures are estimates only. We cannot be held liable or accept any liability on your flight whether the cancellation or delay is caused by adverse weather conditions, rescheduling by an airline, airport authority, and/or action by air traffic controllers, mechanical breakdown or industrial action. Where long flight delays result in lost holiday time, no refunds are given by hotels or suppliers. Similarly, airlines do not offer compensation for flight delays. Alteration or cancellation by us While we will use our best endeavours to operate all tours as advertised, we reserve the right to change any of the facilities, services, prices or itineraries described thereto. No compensation will be paid for alterations or cancellations caused by changes or cancellations to schedules by airlines or any Force Majeure. Force Majeure includes (but are not limited to) war, threat of war, riot, civil disobedience or strife, industrial dispute, terrorist activity, natural or nuclear disaster, fire, adverse weather conditions, epidemics or health risks, level of water in rivers, technical or maintenance problems with transport, closed or congested airport or ports, unforeseen operational decisions of air carriers or any unforeseen or unavoidable event beyond our control. For any tour, we reserve the right to change named air carriers and in such event no compensation is payable. We reserve the right to cancel a tour in any circumstances. Complaints Should you have a complaint about any of the tour arrangements you must tell both the relevant supplier and our representative at that time. If is only if we and the relevant supplier know about the problems that there will be an opportunity to put things right. Failure to complain on the spot will result in your ability to claim compensation being extinguished or at least reduced. Passport, visas and health requirements It is your responsibility to ensure that you satisfy all applicable requirements and take with you all necessary documentation for the whole journey. We cannot be held liable if you fail to do this or be held responsible for any denial of boarding or entry into a destination due to improper documentation or whatever reasons and, if we suffer any loss or expense of such failure on your part, you will be obliged to reimburse us. Acting as agents only We act only as an agent for carriers, transportation companies, hotels and other suppliers and will not be responsible for any losses, damages, accidents, changes in the schedule or other irregularities caused or arising from circumstances beyond our control and have no liability for any death, personal injury or loss of whatever nature you may suffer. Travel insurance As you together with your personal property including baggage are at all times solely at your own risk, we strongly recommend adequate travel insurance. You should satisfy yourself that any travel insurance arranged through us is what you require and should arrange supplementary insurance if needs be. Tour price No refund or reduction will be made to you with regard to air ticket, meals, accommodation, sightseeing, transfers or any other services which are included in the tour costs but not utilised, fully or partially, for whatever reasons.
