The 30 acres of meadow and mature woodlands with borders ablaze with blue hydrangeas and wild rhododendron create the perfect setting for your much needed holiday. From Palm trees to pine woods, Old English Oak to elegant Beech trees, from the dazzling hanging baskets to the mature shrub borders this is a park in which to relax, unwind and enjoy.
The Carlyon Bay Caravan & Camping Park has been run by the same Cornish family for 3 generations spanning half a century, the warm welcome from the Taylor family, be it Jeff, Fran, Shirley, or Ben and Joe will make you feel instantly at home whilst affording the privacy of the parks spacious and relaxed safe family atmosphere. Peace and tranquillity are the hallmarks of the park with its leafy bowers and shaded corners beside stout oaks, elegant chestnut and spreading sycamore trees. The marvellous contrast of this woodland setting within walking distance of the sea and the great open sweep of the bay creates a delightful balance for a restful and absorbing holiday.
Something for everyone... The Carlyon Bay Caravan & Camping Park is an ideal base from which to enjoy all the delights of the surrounding area, but we also cater for our guests on-site as well, children s playgrounds, kiddies corner, the inviting swimming and paddling pools, table tennis, badminton, crazy golf, pool, grass tennis court, volleyball, it s all here completely FREE of charge, and of course with so much space the children are welcome to bring their bicycles as well! There is family entertainment throughout the peak season, on 2 or 3 lazy summer evenings a week come along and be entertained for free by our local well known entertainers be they clowns, jugglers, a brass band or a magician, perhaps whilst mum and dad light the barbecue.
The Eden Project, the jewel in the Cornish crown, is less than 2 miles from the park. Set in 35 acres of an old China clay quarry.this magnificent creation has won accolade upon accolade and is very much to the top of the must see list of Cornish and indeed national attractions. The project itself is a range of huge geodesic domes ranging from the majestic rainforest to the warm temperate biome of the Mediterranean and containing plantations of cocoa, coffee and rubber. The Eden Project has proved hugely popular, but don t worry about the queues, we can sell you a ticket and show you the side entrance, perfect! Charle s Adventureland is 1/2 a mile away offering an amazing range of indoor play equipment suitable for toddlers to young teenagers. Attached is the now famous Cornish Market World, often described as a Petticoat lane indoors! Over 300 stalls guarantee you ll find something of interest and provide fun shopping for the whole family. Next door to these 2 attractions is the Brittania Inn, which offers a family friendly location in which to enjoy a good range of food and drink.
