This year, the conference is being held at the Caribe Royale Hotel. Sponsorship will be fully acknowledged as explained below. This includes cognitive engineering and cognitive systems design, as well as simulation and training. CONFERENCE OVERVIEW The 10th International Conference on Naturalistic Decision Making brings together world leaders in research seeking to understand and improve how people actually perform cognitively complex functions in demanding situations. The NDM community represents an interdisciplinary group of researchers united by their study of human performance in situations marked by time pressure, uncertainty, vague goals, high stakes, team and organizational constraints, changing conditions, and varying amounts of experience. As such it continues to be the premier forum for presenting work exploring complex cognition as it occurs in dynamic and real-world contexts. CONFERENCE OBJECTIVES The NDM conferences have long provided an important forum where an eclectic community of scholars can examine how outstanding national and international research and development needs are addressed by recent advances in theory and methods. The 10th International Conference on Naturalistic Decision Making (NDM-2011) continues this tradition and brings together researchers and practitioners from diverse domains who study topics such as decision making, problem solving, expertise, situation awareness, cognitive engineering and cognitive ergonomics. This conference is an ideal opportunity to exchange important new research results and practitioner experience and present the latest findings on technologies designed to extend and amplify human performance. DRIVING DIRECTIONS From Orlando Airport Take 417 South (Central Florida Greenway) to exit #6. Follow to World Center Drive (do NOT turn right onto International Drive). After the light, the Caribe Royale is located on the right side. Follow the signs towards International Drive on the right. Pass two traffic lights.
