He works as a consultant in the FAO for Global Perspectives Studies Team and for Livestock Information, Sector Analysis and Policy Branch. Previously, he was a research fellow for Monash University Melbourne estimating tourism contribution to Australian State/Territory economies. He is a leading author of Australian State/Territory Tourism Satellite Accounts 2008-09 and 2007-08. His research interests are in application multi-regional computable general equilibrium (CGE) modeling for economic, social, and environmental policies. He simulates the model with different scenarios for example global emission taxes and Annex1 global emission taxes and forestry sequestration subsidy. He incorporates land
