Runway incursions are up, and concerns continue about ensuring proper airfield construction protocols. In addition, FAA has begun its efforts to work with, and prepare airports for, implementing changes to Part 139 requirements as part of International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) Safety Management Standards. 3:00 3:45 pm TSA Security Services and Assessments Introduction: Marty Lenss, Director of Operations and Public Safety, Dane County Regional Airport Speaker: Alexis Smollok, Deputy Assistant Director, Office of Security Services and Assessments, Office of Law Enforcement, Federal Air Marshal Service, TSA This session will provide an overview on activities of the TSA Office of Security Services and Assessments, including the National Explosives Detection Canine Program, airport vulnerability assessments, MANPADS mitigation, and reimbursable agreements for law enforcement officers (LEOs).
