The Grand Hall The Grand Hall is the largest of our venues with a standing capacity of 2,750 and the ability to seat up to 2,034 people. With retractable seating and a sectional stage which can be lowered to create an overall floor space of 1087m 2, The Grand Hall can be configured to suit almost any event. The venue is one of our most versatile spaces and can be dressed for any occasion to fully represent your aims and objectives. The Charter Theatre The Charter Theatre is a traditional theatre auditorium with fixed, tiered seating for 780 people. Split over two levels, The Stalls holds 570 seats and The Dress Circle 210 seats with wheelchair access to both levels. The venue also offers two separate bar areas which are perfect for drink receptions, holding areas or even as extra break out spaces and has direct private access to the Lancaster Suite for larger events. The Charter Theatre has a traditional proscenium arch, black box stage, complete with fly tower and has a wide range of in house technical resources. It also has its own loading and lift access to ensure a smooth and efficient start and end to your visit. LiVe LiVe is a multi-functional space that offers a more intimate setting than our bigger auditoriums with a maximum capacity of 350 seated and 500 standing. LiVe can be used on its own as a fully enclosed venue or in conjunction with The Grand Hall as a reception area or space to exhibit, with two entrances off the main atrium. Complete with three large bars and removable stage as well as concert sound and lighting, LiVe is perfect for special events and high-tech conferences. The space is also ideal for presentations and small scale exhibitions with plenty of room for break-out sessions and team building days. Situated at the front of the building, LiVe boasts beautiful views of the City through its adjoining terrace. The Lancaster & Avenham Suites These flexible hospitality areas are perfectly located just a short distance from both the Grand Hall and Charter Theatre. Incorporating a comfortable bar area, The Suites are popular with corporate users as the ideal place to entertain business clients or conference guests. Two versatile meeting rooms which can be configured multiple ways dependant on your event needs, either used as one large room or screened off into smaller sections. Both spaces can also accommodate large banqueting tables for up to 70 people, making it ideal for intimate weddings or family gatherings. Exhibition Hall Our Exhibition Hall has 318m 2 of well lit event space and its contemporary, minimalist interior offers a blank canvas for all types of events. Set slightly apart from the main building, but still connected, the Exhibition Hall has its own private loading area and lift, as well as direct covered access to our inhouse catering and venue parking. The Exhibition Hall also has its own entrance, reception, facilities and cloakroom area and its paired back interior allows exhibitors to take complete ownership of the space for the duration of their stay. The Terrace & Mundo Tapas With it s floor to ceiling windows offering the best views of the city, The Terrace is a truly unique and ideal setting for your next event. Situated just off LiVe, it s elevated location means you can enjoy the beautiful architecture of the city at eye level. The Terrace is made up of three seperate areas, that can be opened up into one large space or used individually for more intimate gatherings. If the weather is nice the retractable roof and outdoor heating system means you can enjoy the views al fresco! If you re looking for an informal meeting space or somewhere to hold a special event, our restaurant Mundo Tapas has its own private function room available for hire.
