Summer program : Art in the Park Thank you Greg, Barnabas, Hector, our amazing volunteers for making this summer such a success. The United Way of the Central & South Okanagan Similkameen was not only responsible for providing the funding for our four-week summer program BUT also helped fund the Youth Cooking Program with the Central Okanagan Foundation for Youth. Thank you Ian Gerbrandt and everyone at the United Way. Reminders Special O Basketball starts Oct 5, 2016 Kids & Teens in Motion starts Sept 27,2016. If this is something your child is interested in contact their school. Funding can be applied for thru L.I.F.E. program at the Community Centre. Call Marleen 240 809 4419 for more information.

Please visit our website for a list of books and DVD s available, or visit The Child Development Centre at 550 Carmi Ave. Respitality South Okanagan: Respitality is a combination of Respite and Hospitality that provides parents of children who have complex care needs and/or disabilities an opportunity to get a much needed break. Respitality South Okanagan matches parents with overnight accommodations that have been generously donated by local hotels. The parents also receive gift certificates for a meal and entertainment donated from community partners such as the Pasta Factory, South Okanagan Event Centre and Elephant Island. This provides parents with an opportunity to relax and rejuvenate so they can return home refreshed and less stressed. Respitality South Okanagan would not be able to offer families this much needed break without the support of our valued community partners!! THANK YOU SO MUCH! This program run from Oct 1 to April 30 each year. To find out if you qualify for this program and/or to register please go to our website or call Traci for more information.
