Training Module Description FAA PPL Program This course is designed to allow you to acquire the proficiency and experience needed to meet the certification requirements for an FAA Private Pilot (ASEL) Certificate. The performance criteria specified in the syllabus is based on the current FAA Private Pilot (ASEL) Practical Test Standards. Concurrently to flying, you will attend the Private Pilot Ground School to acquire the aeronautical knowledge needed to safely operate as pilots and satisfactorily complete the Private Pilot Written Exam. Before graduating from the ground school, you must complete 36 hours of formal ground training. FAA Instrument Rating The Instrument Rating Course prepares you to acquire the proficiency and experience needed to meet the certification requirements for adding an FAA Instrument Rating to your existing Private Pilot Certificate (ASE). Concurrently to flying, you will attend the Instrument Rating Ground School to acquire the aeronautical knowledge needed to safely operate as an instrument pilot and satisfactorily complete the Instrument Written Exam. Before graduating from the ground school, you must complete 30 hours of ground training. Upset Recovery Training (optional) This course is designed to expose you to extreme unusual attitudes and teach appropriate recovery techniques. The course is completed in our American Champion Aurora Citabria and is comprised of 2 hours of dual flight and 1 hour of ground school. This course is included in the price. High Altitude Chamber (optional) You will receive classroom training on high altitude operations and also complete a hypobaric chamber session. During the chamber session, you will engage in simulated pilot activities to observe personal symptoms of hypoxia and develop an awareness of the onset of early stage hypoxia. This training is designed to minimize the likelihood of hypoxia-related accidents. This course is included in the price. 3 1050 West NASA Boulevard, Melbourne, FL 32901-6975 (321) 674-6501

EASA PIC Experience Building (Top-Up course) This portion of the training is designed to build your experience towards the required 100 hours of PIC time, and 200 hours of total time required to receive an EASA Commercial Pilot license. During this phase, you will complete both dual and solo lessons. EASA MEP-CPL The MEP component of our EASA MEP/CPL course is designed to prepare you to act as PIC when operating a single-pilot multiengine aircraft and to ensure that you fully understand all aspects of multiengine operations in normal and non-normal (emergency/abnormal) flight profiles. The aim of the CPL portion of the course is to train ICAO PPL holders to the level of proficiency necessary to act as Pilot-In- Command (PIC) in the operation of a single-pilot aircraft on an EASA Commercial Air Transport flight. Concurrently, you will also attend ground school to refresh elements of the knowledge gained during the completion of the ATPL theoretical knowledge course. The objective of the theoretical knowledge training is to target specific areas of the ATPL course and focus on the more practical elements directly related to the operation of the aircraft. EASA Instrument Rating Conversion (in Europe) The EASA IR conversion course is designed to prepare you to act as PIC when operating a single-pilot multi-engine aircraft under EASA Instrument Flight Rules in European Airspace. This course will be completed at one of FIT s approved European partners. This proposal includes your air travel from the US to Europe and housing while in Europe. 4 1050 West NASA Boulevard, Melbourne, FL 32901-6975 (321) 674-6501
