Safari Niagara is a 150-acre nature park located in Stevensville, Ontario, and is home to over 1000 animals, reptiles and birds. Founded in 2002 by the Tykolis family, Safari Niagara is an award winning, Canadian Accredited Zoos and Aquariums (CAZA) and Zoological Association of America (ZAA) facility. Safari Niagara is a wonderful destination for people of all ages and abilities to get up close with the park inhabitants. The park is completely interactive with free educational animal presentations, guided tours, animal feedings and a petting farm. Safari Niagara also boasts an allinclusive admission price, which includes entrance to all activities such as Sky Quest Ropes Course, Jumping Pillows and a splash pad. MISSION STATEMENT: At Safari Niagara, our goal is to bring you and your family a one-on-one connection with nature. We invite you to see the animals up close and get to know them. In this way, children of all ages can explore how we are all part of nature and where we fit in. It is hoped that Safari Niagara will inspire future conservationists and nature-lovers by bringing them into a new environment. SIZE: Currently on 150 acres of land, Safari Niagara has begun expanding into their additional 200 acres.

ANIMALS: Home to over 1000 domestic and exotic animals, reptiles and birds. ANNUAL ATTENDANCE Safari Niagara attracts more than 150,000 guests annually from all over the world. GENERAL MANAGER: Tim Tykolis AFFILIATION: Safari Niagara is an accredited member of the prestigious Canada s Accredited Zoos and Aquariums (CAZA) and Zoological Association of America (ZAA) comprised of caring, trusted experts committed to ensuring that many endangered and threatened species are part of the world s future. AWARDS: Safari Niagara has received numerous significant awards for its leadership in economic developments and positive environmental impact, such as the 2014 Travel Zoo Award, the 2014 Trip Advisor Travelers Choice Award and the 2013 Tourism Enterprise Award at the Niagara Entrepreneur of the Year Awards.

NEW FOR 2017: Throughout the off season, Safari Niagara has been rapidly working on improving and advancing the park grounds with a new rhino, lion and alligator exhibit in the works. Safari Niagara also expanded our conservation efforts by adding new more informative signage for our guests! EDUCATION: Safari Niagara offers children 6-12 the opportunity to engage in day camps throughout July and August, providing them with an educational, interactive and engaging nature oriented programs. Safari Niagara also offers teachers and school groups the opportunity to learn and connect with wildlife through a customized professionally developed curriculum package. VOLUNTEERS: Volunteers play an important role at Safari Niagara. They educate the public about wildlife, direct visitors, assist with special events and help maintain the zoo s beautiful landscape. COMMUNITY GROUPS: Safari Niagara is an avid contributor to the community. In 2013, Safari Niagara launched a new Not-For-Profit fundraising initiative; this initiative remains an integral part

of our season. Heart and Stroke and the Salvation Army were among a few of the organizations that have held fundraisers at the park and received a portion of the day s admissions sales to support their funding and initiative. In addition, Safari Niagara hosts the annual Cystic Fibrosis walk to help raise funds and awareness for the disease. PRIVATE EVENTS: Safari Niagara hosts a variety of private functions from corporate picnic to family reunions and birthday parties. Safari Niagara can provide catered BBQ options and private space designated to your group.
