WHO ARE FISHER? We are a fully supporter-owned and volunteer-run football club based in the London Borough of Southwark. We exist to provide opportunities to local people of all ages and backgrounds; for sporting development, for social interaction and entertainment, and for community participation and engagement. As pioneers in a rising trend toward greater supporter involvement and fan ownership in football, we stand for progressiveness and creativity, for responsibility and sustainablity. Fisher has over100 years of history, with strong foundations in a distinct and interesting area of London, and with past achievement that still sustain national recognition. The endeavors and methods of the present day club have garnered widespread praise and admiration, and the cause to relocate to an appropriate facility back in the Fisher heartland has won support from locals and officials. WHY SPONSOR US? Our structure and operation makes us unique locally, and stand out more widely. Our goals and values project a positive image and our story and current cause are compelling. We are a visibly proactive organisation, drawing on the wide ranging skills of our board and members to promote ourselves and our partners in a modern, professional and dynamic manner. Locally, we work to deliver content that ensures great press coverage of both sporting and community activities. We use direct marketing and a strong presence at local festivals and events and to reach and interact with our target audience and community. We extend our reach through online communication and our ability to embrace national events such as the annual Non-League Day which saw us attract fans of football league clubs to our home fixture. Our superbly received website boasts a professionalism in excess of the majority of other football clubs at this and much higher levels, and receives over 10,000 visits per month. We are also very active on Facebook with steady week on week growth of likes, and are among the most followed nonleague football clubs on Twitter.
SHIRT SPONSORSHIP ACADEMY SPONSORSHIP The club currently play in the Kent Premier League which is step 5 of the non-league pyramid and step 9 of the entire English football pyramid. We consistently feature in the top four for matchday attendances in our league. We compete each year in the FA Cup and FA Vase, which both offer the opportunity for national exposure; last year one of our FA Cup matches was featured on FATV. The most sought after sponsorship package in any football club is shirt sponsorship. Our shirt sponsors are our principle partners, they are the business that fans and local people will associate with the club, and the name that is seen by Fisher fans and local residents when they open the Southwark News or log on to our website. The exposure provided by shirt sponsorship is unrivalled by any other package. Our weekly half-page coverage in the Southwark News invariably features an action shot of our players sporting a sponsored shirt. Our website, which receives over 10,000 hits per month, is full of match pictures, which are also shared with hundreds of followers on Facebook and Twitter. Fisher s academy programme provides 16-18 year olds with the opportunity to play football at a high level while also continuing their studies. Delivered at the Millwall FC Community Scheme facilities at the New Den, our programme is aimed at talented footballers from Bermondsey and Rotherhithe who are at risk of dropping out of education. The full time two year programme provides the players with qualifications that will help them find employment or allow them to go on to university, and they get the opportunity to play football in the prestigious Ryman Youth League.
