RM is a systematic and standardized process to identify, assess and mitigate hazard exposure and control risk. 5 Step Process: (1-3) Identify, Assess and Mitigate/Control Hazards (performed in advance of mission) and (4-5) Implement Mitigation Controls and Supervise/Evaluate for change during mission.
