Festival - a four day tribute to Scotland s internationally acclaimed poet Robert Burns. burns an a that! is now the largest arts and cultural festival in the West of Scotland attracting audiences from throughout the UK and beyond. This year s exciting programme presents an eclectic mix of music from folk to classical and traditional through to pop, as well as a wide ranging programme of community events at venues throughout Ayrshire. Ayr Town Hall is the main focus and new home of the 2010 burns an a that! Festival. Featuring four spectacular days of more than 20 artists, the opening night on Thursday 27th May features music from the finalists of the AYRPLAY competition, Friday sees finalists from the most recent 2009 ITV X Factor series and a complete change of pace on Saturday, as the Town Hall welcomes leading Scottish folk musicians. The Sunday night Festival Finale has closed each of the last two festivals to resounding applause and this year is set to follow suit with performances from Scotland s finest in rock, latin, classical, comedy and more.
