KICK START YOUR HOLIDAY WITH MIGHTY How to See the Mighty Side of Life How old do I need to be? For our Lowball, Highball & Jackpot campervans, you only need to be 18 years and up. For the more spacious Deuce, Double Down & Double Up campervans, you need to be at least 21. What sort of licence do I need? A full current one. Aside from that, if your licence isn t in English, we ll need you to pick up a current international driving permit issued in the same nationality as your licence. Sharing the driving? Unless you want to hog the driving there is a $5/ day charge for any additional drivers. If you ve purchased our Almighty cover - then share away; extra drivers are included. Minimum hires? The minimum rental period for the Lowball is three days, for the rest of the Mighty Vehicles it is five days - the perfect long weekend. Travel between North Island and South Island is 10 days minimum and over peak season this is subject to change. Between 20 December - 10 January the minimum is also 10 days. Visit www.mightycampers.co.nz What about one-way hires? One way rentals are available between all branch locations. Location & one-way fees may apply. What is liability, you ask? This is the amount of money you re liable for if the vehicle gets banged up (or bangs up someone elses). The amount you re liable for depends on the Liability Reduction option you take. You can take a gamble and take the standard liability without paying an additional per day charge. We recommend The Almighty cover option! Mighty Branch Hours? All branches are open from: 8.00am - 4.30pm, 7 days a week. All branches are closed 25 December. A $50 surcharge applies to rentals picking up or dropping off on 18 April, 21 April, 25 April, 02 June, 27 October, 26 December, 01 January and 02 January. What roads are too dangerous for me? There are a few roads which we can t let you travel on. The information is available on our rental agreements available at www.mightycampers.co.nz as well as at our branch. Your Guide to Mighty Liability New Zealand Whilst liability cover insurance can be purchased from a third party* to protect you from cost of any liability in case of damage, it does not directly release you from the liability associated with hiring a Mighty vehicle. It is a mandatory requirement for you to accept liability directly with Mighty by way of a security deposit to cover the standard liability applicable to the Mighty vehicle hired. The standard Mighty Light liability option is included in the rental rate and requires a NZ$3,500 or NZ$5,000 security deposit (depending on the vehicle hired), which is debited from your credit card upon collection of the vehicle. In the case of vehicle or property damage, part or all of the security deposit will be retained, however you can seek reimbursement from the third party* from whom you purchased the liability cover insurance. We have created easy to follow liability options for you to choose from, so that you can enjoy your Mighty road trip safe in the knowledge that we ve got you covered.
