Day 1. Welcome to Miami. You will arrive to Miami around 4:00 pm. Pick up at the airport and transfer to your Hotel. Day 2. Miami Tour. 7:00 pm Pick up at the hotel. Cuban Show and dinner at Havana 1957. This restaurant combines the flavors of traditional Cuban cuisine with the enchantment and sophistication of Havana in the 1950 s. It sets itself apart by creating a unique dining experience that allows you to spend A day in Havana and relive the glory and glamour of old Cuba during the 1950 s. 9:30 am City Tour. Experience some of Miami s most iconic places. Enjoy the majestic urban and tropical landscape of this unique city. Take views of Downtown Miami, Coconut Grove the oldest modern continuously inhabited neighborhood in town, and the imposing skyline of this city. Admire the diversity and sophistication of the city s cultural heritage with a glimpse of Coral Gables and a stop at Little Havana, noted as a center of social, cultural, and political activity in Miami. 12:30 pm Bayside Marketplace. Bayside Marketplace is a festival marketplace in Downtown Miami. The entertainment complex opened in 1987, during a major real estate boom in Miami. There are several restaurants to choose from, some with live music. The shopping center was frequently featured on the crime drama TV series, Miami Vice. Lunch on your own.
2:00 pm Sightseeing Cruise Miami-Island Queen. Sit back and relax for an unforgettable fully-narrated bilingual sightseeing cruise along scenic Biscayne Bay. See Miami s spectacular coastal sites including the beautiful downtown Miami skyline, the Port of Miami, Fisher Island, Miami Beach and Millionaire s Row the homes of the rich and famous. Beverages and light snacks are available for purchase onboard during this 90 minutes cruise. 4:00 pm Back to Hotel. 7:30 pm Pick up at the Hotel for your farewell dinner in Miami. Day 3. Flight to Havana. Arrival at Jose Marti International Airport in Havana. Welcome by a Representative of Vemares and pick up at the airport. From the airport, you will go on a panoramic tour of Modern Havana with a stop at Plaza de la Revolucio n (Revolution Square) where you can take pictures. Here, you will see the Monument to Jose Marti, one of the most important figures of Cuban history and leader in the independence war against Spain.
You will also pass the historic University of Havana, Hilton Hotel, Hotel Nacional de Cuba and the American Embassy. Lunch at a private restaurant (Paladar), where you will learn of this new form of private business in Cuba. Check in at the Private House. Day 4. Historical Tour of Old Havana After breakfast, tour the Historical Center of Old Havana, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Visit the main plazas (squares): Plaza Vieja, Plaza de San Francisco de Asis, Plaza de Armas and Plaza de la Catedral. Enjoy a coffee tasting at El Escorial and a visit to the Engraving Workshop La Catedral and the studio of painter Nelson Dominguez. You will have the opportunity to meet some artists and learn about their projects. Lunch at a private restaurant in La Habana Vieja (Old Havana). Enjoy a scenic drive that will take you around the National Capitol (monumental work of the Twentieth Century and former home of the legislature in Cuba before 1959), the Grand Theater of Havana (a baroque architectural wonder that serves as the main house for the world-famous Cuban National Ballet), Central Park and Paseo del Prado (first walk outside the walls of the old city, which opened in the late eighteenth century and it is considered to be a true Cuban architectural jewel).
Tropicana Cabaret Show with dinner included. Tropicana is a world-known Cabaret, the most spectacular of the cabarets to open sky. It s a unique place to enjoy the music and the Cuban folklore in all their color, musicality and rhythm, an art extravaganza to multiply the Cuban happiness of a true tropical night. Marlon Brando, Ernest Hemingway, Rita Hayworth, and J.F.K., to name a few, frequently visited this famous place. After the show the dancers engage with the audience members and invite them to the stage for dancing.
Day 5. Viñales, The Land of Tobacco. After breakfast you will travel to the Valley of Viñales, 120 miles from Havana. This National Park has been declared a Natural Heritage Site by UNESCO. The area has very fertile lands, it s where the famous Cuban tobacco is grown and harvested. Stop at Los Jazmines observation point, where you can take in the impressive views of the natural environment. Next, you will visit the Mural of Prehistory, painted by contemporary artists and farmers on the side of a mogote, the rock formation typical of this Valley a wooded hill 120 meters high.
Then visit La Cueva del Indio, a cave complex where you will tour interesting geological formations and an underground gallery, with a stretch of subterraneous river that you will navigate on powerboats. Lunch at the restaurant Paladar Campestre El Hombre Habano. Visit Vega Robaina (a tobacco plantation), where the famous tobacco grower of the same name lived. Learn the process of planting and harvesting of tobacco. See the plantations and observe the process of tobacco production. Meet and share with the vega workers and learn about their customs and way of life. Return to the hotel. Free night.
