Here, you will receive your bungalow number. If you arrive after the Information Desk has closed, an envelope with name, key card and activities card will be waiting for you in the safe on the outside wall to the right of the entrance - the code to the safe is 898989. Please leave your bungalow by 10:00 AM. Payment methods In our park, you can pay by Cash, American Express, Visa and MasterCard and bank card or giro card. On the arrival day and day of departure, you can take part in activities and use the park facilities for the entire day. TIP!
Currency Denmark has its own currency, the Danish krone. It is possible to pay in euros, but you will receive your change in Danish krone. Internet There is free Internet in your bungalow and in most areas at the park. Pets If you haven t booked a pet, call the Contact Centre before you arrive on +45 7023 2030 (normal call charges apply) to add a pet to your booking (cleaning surcharge dkr. 347,-). Smoke-free zone All bungalows and indoor public areas are smoke-free zones. Water You can drink the water from the tap. Parking There is a parking place near your bungalow. Electric cars You may charge electric cars at our charging point. Elektriciteit Unlike in our other parks, we charge you separately for your use of public utilities (water, gas and electricity), based on actual use during your stay. Consumption is automatically (digitally) measured and at the end of your stay you pay at the park in Danish krone. From 1 November 2016, the rates for using public utilities are: Electricity DKK 2.75 per kwh (around 0.37 /kwh). Water DKK 10 per 0.1 m³ (around 1.34/0.1 m³ water). Electricity DKK 1.95 per kwh (around 0.26/kWh). Prices subject to change. Example: for normal use during a week s stay for four people, the average charge is 90. Plug In Denmark, a continental plug with two pins is used. Most plugs are not earthed, so an adapter may be useful. Bed linen and towel packs On arrival, there is a pack for each guest containing bed linen and two towels.
The bungalows Most of our bungalows are private property, so they do not all look alike. The bungalows all have their own unique charm and interior design. Parkshop Thanks to our new Park Shop, you don t have to drive far to find what you need. Here you will find everything for breakfast, lunch and dinner. There is also a great selection of snacks and various beverages, so you can relax and enjoy. Food and drink At our holiday park, you will find the Brasserie. Here you can order from our new a la carte menu, which focuses on regional ingredients and Danish traditional specialities. You can also try homemade, rustic pizzas baked in our stone oven. And of course, we have a special children s menu featuring a burger created by Bollo himself.
Activities at the holiday park Water Paradise We have a large indoor tropical swimming paradise with a 56 metre long slide. For our youngest guests, there s also a paddling pool. Water fun for the entire family! You can also warm up in our sauna or relax in the jacuzzi. Specially for the kids The changing rooms have changing tables and small baths. You can buy swim nappies at the Parkshop. Midget golf Challenge each other to a game of midget golf at our outdoor midget golf course. You can hire equipment from the Parkshop. Bicycle Rentals Explore the beautiful scenery around the holiday park on two wheels. You can rent bicycles or even mountain bikes for those wanting more excitement. There are various routes in the area for all levels. Many of the trails go through Gjern Bakker, so be prepared to pedal. Children The children can spend many happy hours in the playground on the big bouncy castles and trampolines or in the indoor play area. They can develop their artistic talents in our creative Funny s workplace where many extra activities take place in the school holidays. Sports centre Challenge the family to a game of badminton, basketball, handball or volleyball. Or what about a game of squash? Hours of fun for young and old in the sports centre! You can hire everything you need for a sporty day at the Parkshop in the park. If the shop is closed, you can go to reception.
The park s surroundings Hjejlen - 14 km from the park Throughout the summer, Hjejlen (the oldest steamboat in Denmark) sails with many other tour boats between Silkeborg and Ry to Himmelbjerget and on to Laven on the other side of Julsø. On the route, you get a historic glimpse of a bygone age. You also get plenty of opportunity to experience the wonderful Søhøjland from the water. Highly recommended! Labyrinthia - 21 km from the park Fun, games and learning for the whole family. Take a trip to Labyrinthia, Land of Mazes by Silkeborg, and experience some different, fun and challenging hours in the labyrinth world, and get plenty of healthy exercise for both brain and legs. Randers Regnskov - 43 km from the park The Randers Regenwoud is a 3600 square metre tropical rainforest with animals and plants from the three big rainforest continents of the world: South America, Asia and Africa. Around half of the more than 250 animal species live freely and are thus in the same unique tropical ecosystem as those of the visitors. An adventurous outing for the whole family. Djurs Sommerland Amusement Park - 37 km from the park Are you a speed, fun and games-loving family? Then get ready for the biggest rollercoasters, the giant Aqua Park and over 60 rides for small and grown-up kids. Come experience why Djurs Sommerland has been named the best Nordic amusement park for four consecutive years. Den Gamle By (the old town) - 34 km from the park An interesting visit for the whole family, big and small. In this open air museum, you meet people from another age. They cook, chop wood, make crafts or serve customers in the shop. You can see what Denmark looked like in the 1970s in a complete district with streets, apartments, shops, courtyards and workplaces. Turn right and follow Møllebakken - drive 4.5 km. Turn left and follow Videhøjvej. Turn right at the T junction and follow Søndergade. Shortly afterwards, turn left and follow Lille Amerika.
