IT2012 LOCAL GOVERNMENT INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY CONFERENCE SPONSORSHIP INFORMATION, TERMS AND CONDITIONS Coffs Harbour City Council is organising the 15 th Information Technology Conference for Local Government on the 13 th to the 16 th November 2012. The program will feature expert speakers from government, the private sector, online organisations, and the computer and communications industries. Delegates will be afforded the opportunity to network with others, obtain information on the latest developments in information technology, and to find best practice solutions. Representatives of local government, state and federal government agencies, and business corporations will be attending the conference from throughout Australia. Some of the important and highly relevant issues to be addressed in the conference program will include: IT Best Practises Cutting edge & emerging IT technologies Council case studies Industry & Government trends Management Skills and techniques Change Management Personal\Professional growth & development Mobile Computing Service Orientated Architecture Cloud Computing As with previous years, the program will be offering two concurrent streams on Wednesday and Thursday afternoon. This will provide delegates with a choice of topics, so that they may attend sessions more suited to their position in the organisation. To complement this program, the conference will include trade displays and demonstrations of new technologies. Organisations participating in conference sponsorship will have a unique opportunity to market their products and services to a targeted audience of major customers. Organisations wishing to take part in the conference as a sponsor, should read the enclosed information and return the signed sponsorship Expressions of Interest form. Sponsorship opportunities will be limited to 26-30 positions only. Gold Sponsors will be notified in February 2012 and all other sponsorships will be confirmed in March 2012.
Sponsor Details You will note in the details attached that sponsorship is being offered in two categories. These are Gold Sponsor (maximum of three) and Silver Sponsor (maximum of 23-26). The quoted prices include, at a base level, a trade display area, and varying levels of corporate exposure depending on the category selected. Please note, the number of registrations are limited to 2 per silver sponsor and 4 per gold sponsor. Please note only 2 registrations are included in your sponsorship. Extra persons will need to register as delegates and accommodation will be at a neighbour resort. Registrations for sponsors can not be shared. Accommodation: 2, 3 and 4 bedroom villa s are available for Gold and Silver sponsors. Villa s are onsite at Opal Cove Resort. Standard Hotel rooms are reserved for council delegates to ensure we have as many delegates as possible attend the conference. Gold sponsorship is limited to only 3 organisations, and each Gold sponsor has a guaranteed 30 minute presentation placement in the plenary conference sessions please note that a sponsors information handbook will be forwarded in June 2012. The handbook will provide guide lines to sponsoring and must be adhered to. Please note that only 1 presenter from each of the 3 Gold Sponsors is acceptable. Presenters are expected to present with authority about particular industry trends and not simply product focus. In addition, Gold sponsors will have their company logos on the front cover of the conference program. It is imperative that we obtain the logos of the three Gold Sponsors as soon as possible to allow adequate time for printing and distribution of the program throughout Australia. Please note that Gold sponsors considering a consortium are limited to 3 companies per sponsorship. Should you decide to take Gold Sponsorship, only 1 logo will be accepted for advertising. General Information Delegates will be given opportunities to view the displays during the morning, afternoon tea and lunch breaks. The times allocated for these breaks have been extended to allow plenty of time for delegates to view all displays. In addition, the welcome function on Tuesday afternoon will take place among the displays. The 'Exhibitor Passport' is a competition for delegates, in which they must collect a stamp or signature from each sponsor in order to enter. Sponsors are required to provide a prize for the Exhibitor Passport Promotion with a minimum value of $100.00. Many organisations will be familiar with this concept from other conferences. Other Sponsorship Opportunities Conference Dinner. Sponsorship includes wines for the dinner and acknowledges the sponsor including their logo on the dinner menu. The sponsor is welcome to theme this event to their own wishes, ie., balloons, which the conference manager can assist with. Conference BBQ. This will take place on the balcony overlooking the ocean and resort pool on Wednesday 14 th November weather permitting. Sponsorship covers part of the dinner and drinks costs. The sponsor is free to theme this event, provide entertainment (we will assist with this) and promotion of their organisation. Welcome Function.
