Relaxing Ireland 9th 30th June 2019 A gentle paced tour of the land that is simply Ireland Discover the beauty of Ireland during a relaxed paced tour exploring the enormous fascination of this wonderful country - its spectacularly rich history, its hospitality, its mystical Celtic charms all of which are simply Ireland. An excellent start to the tour is our stay in the colourful capital Dublin. Founded by Vikings in the ninth century, the city, with a long and interesting history is just waiting to be discovered. Leaving Dublin we take in much of the countries natural beauty with visits to the Cliffs of Moher, The Ring of Kerry, its stunning west-coast seascapes & soaring mountains and to Blarney Castle for an opportunity to kiss the famous Stone. You ll also spend time in the vibrant and colourful Galway City on Irelands western coast and in its second city, Cork, located in the south. We visit Waterford, which boasts a history of over 1000 years and is rightly world famous for its immaculately crafted crystal. Whether this is your first visit to the Emerald Isle or you re returning once again, this easy paced, relaxed tour will create lasting memories to be cherished forever.

22 Days Day One Sunday 9 th June The tour meets at a campsite on the outskirts of Dublin where this evening the Tour Directors host a welcome reception at their motorhome. Day Two Monday 10 th June We travel by coach to the Guinness Storehouse, where we explore the making and history of this famous stout. Our tour finishes at the Guinness Gravity Bar, the highest in town, with panoramic views stretching across Dublin. After a sample of the black stuff make use of your included Hop-on, Hop-off bus pass to freely explore the city for the remainder of the day. Day Three Tuesday 11 th June An opportunity to return to the City using your Hop-on, Hop-off bus pass. This evening we are taken by coach to a traditional Irish Pub where we can enjoy dinner accompanied by Irish Music and a Dance Show, a taste of real Irish entertainment. Day Four Wednesday 12 th June Leisurely drive into the rural heart of Ireland for an overnight stay on the tranquil shores of Lough Ree. 77 miles Day Five Thursday 13 th June We complete our journey to the wild West Coast, arriving at our campsite in County Galway. 63 miles Day Six Friday 14 th June A free day with lots of possibilities; you have the choice of taking the local bus from outside the campsite into the historic and picturesque Galway City, you can take a pleasant walk direct from the campsite along the strand into the city, or simply stay close to home and relax around the campsite. Day Seven Saturday 15 th June Time to relax on the shores of the coastal park; take a dip in the nearby seawater lido or further explore the shops, pubs and sites of the fantastic city. Day Eight Sunday 16 th June A short drive along the coastal Wild Atlantic Way or through the Burren National Park to our next campsite in County Clare. 50 miles Day Nine Monday 17 th June We have an exciting day in store, firstly we are collected by coach and taken to the Visitor Centre at the top of the Cliffs of Moher. Our guide will later escort us back downhill to Doolin, an alternative minibus is also available for those less abled. Lunch is included, in the afternoon, we board a boat to view the famous cliffs from sea level. Day Ten Tuesday 18 th June A free day and opportunity to take it easy whilst watching the gigantic Atlantic rollers come crashing in, or take a gentle stroll into the local village, reputed to be the heart of Irish traditional music, and enjoy the hospitality of this wonderful land. Another possibility is to visit the rugged Arran Islands by boat from the harbour near the campsite.

Day Eleven Wednesday 19 th June Our next destination takes us away from the Atlantic Coast, staying in the wooded grounds of the 774 acre De Vere Estate in County Kerry. On the way we stop at Bunratty Castle & Folk Park where you can learn what life was like in the not too distant past and take lunch (payable locally) in one of Ireland s most famous pubs Durty Nelly s. 62 miles Day Twelve Thursday 20 th June We arrive today at our award-winning park close to Killarney town centre, renowned as the Gateway to the National Park and Lakes.
