Ride and Have Fun!! We can t say that enough. Can you believe we are half way thru the year, yes, the year is half gone! We have been so blessed with beautiful weather, we have not cancelled rides due to rain, yet! It will happen soon so remember, you need to contact the HOG line before rides to ensure that they are still happening as announced. Cathy Black does an amazing job keeping it current! Thank you. Customer Appreciation Day is held at Space Coast Harley Davidson the 1 st Saturday of each month. If you are interested in coming out and volunteering contact Len Widman, our Volunteer Coordinator. This month we will needing two shifts, come join the fun! Serving and volunteering is a joy for me! Hope to see you there. For those of you that missed Movie Night, I have to tell you, it was AWESOME! My dad cooked the BBQ Pork and Chicken, Rosie Galluzzi took care of dessert and popcorn, Maddie Horsman managed the set ups and sodas for us! There were many that helped Nick Galluzzi, Paul Pelligrino and Gene Colvin that ended up helping dad with the cooking! Thanks to each of you and all that helped clean up, when I woke up Sunday, I could not tell that some 70 people had been in my backyard the prior night! By the way, the movie choice was perfect, Wild Hogs, Great movie! Lots of laughs! One question that comes up occasionally is Safety Training. HOG is actually a Social Club that gathers people together that shares the passion for riding Harley Davidson Motorcycles. I do like to show the Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF) video several times a year to remind all riders the rules of group riding. Remember, as you ride with a group, be it HOG or another group, you must ride at your comfort level and remember not everyone is as experienced as you and for safety purposes, and they need to ride at their comfort level. We are all individuals and must ride with that in mind. Space Coast Harley Davidson offers Rider Academy Safety Classes trained by Certified Staff. This is where I would recommend you go to get safety training classes. And to support this, National HOG will send anyone that completes the class $50.00 of the expense by way of gift certificate to Harley Davidson or HOG Thank you to all the Road Captains that are leading the way for our rides, without you we don t ride!! And remember, if you are interested in leading a ride, just let us know, we will happily support you!! Lastly, remember to stop in Space Coast Harley Davidson and say hey to the staff, they are always supportive of our events and group. We are blessed to have their support! Ride Often, Ride Safe and Keep Smiling! Georgia Nelson
